The only time I’ve seen Napoli recently was when they played Liverpool in the CL last season, and they were so good.

The situation at Napoli is volatile. They had like 2 bad results and the chairman (ADL) tried to force the team into a training retreat. Ancelotti didn’t agree with it and neither did the player - the players revolted and now there’s a huge split and big disharmony within the squad.

More than a few. Their last 8 games were W0 D6 L2. It’s still an overreaction though, especially when you consider they’re the only team to have beaten Liverpool this season.
I was referring to the initial period when ADL asked for the retreat. It was after like 3 or 4 games without a win.
That’s because they’re spitballing to create content for their pay service.

True that. I’m clueless when it comes to football news sources and didn’t know about “the Athletic” until I saw it here. Now I can’t stop seeing their stuff. They must have some rich ass owners because their adds are all over YouTube, twitter, reddit etc… Doesn’t look like their stuff is any better than the rest of the sports news you would get any where else to be honest.
