Marcelino is exactly who I’d expect 3fids to hire lol
Obviously, I assume from this he’s shit lol, but can you tell me anything more about him, his style, his history, suitability to Arsenal/England?
He’s not shit. He’s better than Emery. But he’s not someone who’s going to take this club forward.
His style is very tactical, rather conservative. He’s basically what Emery would be if he had an actual clue.
Can he speak English will we be able to understand him? I cba for Good Ebening Merchant’s again
I’m a complete hypocrite because I posted some godawful sources in my low points of Emeryball, posting any cunt that said he was going out of hope, but these sources know absolutely fuck all.
Cross, Daily Mail, whatever. Orny says we are looking for Poch. We are maybe offering him the job soon.
That’s as far as where things are imo.
I agree.
But I think because we’ve never seen our owners behave in any way other than in a slow, meandering fashion, is why we doubt their intention of getting anything other than a totally underwhelming replacement for the last underwhelming one they chose.
A lot of our supporters like to think of us as a club, steeped in history and everything we do is with an air of class but in reality we just have an owner that are old and greedy.
There is nothing classy about ripping off supporters every season and giving very little back.
Would be fine with Marcelino.

Still think they should do everything to get Allegri for the simple reason that he’s only one who’s proven and on par with the best in the game. I blame Twitter and Ronaldo fanboys for ruining his reputation.
Why not Simeone while we’re at it? He’s also proven and on par with the best of the game, more so than Allegri. That way we can all complain about the inability to score goals like we do with Mi Atléti ().
^
They’re not the same.
Atlético, although they used to be decent in possession won their one league title with an average possession of 49%. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a top side close to this, with the possible exception of Klopp’s Dortmund.
Juventus were usually around 55-56 %, which is about what you’d see from Arsenal. Possibly slightly more.
Goals scored always between 70-80
–
edit: Milan 56 % when they won their title.
There’s no parking the bus at home or whatever nonsense people keep repeating.
In an inferior league with a major competitive advantage respective to rivals instead of a major competitive disadvantage respective to rivals, let’s not forget.
I know I know, I can be a bit biased when it comes to mi Atléti (), but hopefully that statement reads as fair.
Guys.
I think I’m all in on Freddie. We may have stumbled onto something special with him.
I love him.
I just need one confirmation re. the lineup (no Mustafi from now on, pick Tierney over Kola but there could have been a reason for that etc) before I go all in.
I’d be happy with most managers. Gazidis did an unbelievably mediocre job in finding Emery, because out of the top managers that were available, he was maybe the only one I was never gonna be able to stomach.
This time it’s Valverde. If they don’t appoint him, I’ll be happy enough.
You’ve got to be kidding me lol. No manager that picks Mustafi, Xhaka and Kolasinac in the same starting lineup should even be considered for the role.
Thank goodness you aren’t making the decisions man…just lol
@Electrifying I think Emery & Gazidis has taken a toll on you brother, need a lay down?
That spectacular 2-2 draw with Norwich has gone to your head.
Not every performance is going to be as great as that.

Behnchode all ae yous were happy when Emery got announced
He earns an absolute shit load as well. Over £30M a season. A complete no go for us lol.
Can you actually tell us all what is so fucking wonderful about Arteta ?
Without Arab oil money Manchester Shitty wouldn’t have Pep in charge and without that money do you think Arteta would be there ?
No ,
So here your stage …
what’s good about Arteta ?
