Next manager

Definitely.
We have lack any leaders on the pitch for a long time, and it shows when we are up against it.
Emery was weak as well and relying on Xhaka as captain was proof that neither were good enough for the club.

We need someone strong that can walk in and have the respect of the players straight away.
A manager that can shake this bunch of mentally weak and lazy players into a winning team and who can actually organise a defence into something resembling a defensive unit.

Neither Arteta or Freddie fit that description but, like you say, Pochettino, Rodgers, Allegri and possibly Ancelotti, certainly do.

No mate your not. A manager on the same points ratio as Emery over fifty games not the answer for me.
Remember all them late winners last season and everyone claiming how lucky spuds always where.
Remember all them posts how the media where bias to them when they dropped points. This was the guy in charge of them games.
I think he will probably get one shot at a big club but imo fall short. He lost a dressing room with no really big egos and couldnt win an away game since last January.
Do not want him here at all.

So are we officially crossing Nuno and MoPo off the list of candidates? and Nagelsmann doesn’t appear to be in the frame.

In which case I’d be in favour of Ancelotti, then Allegri, then Arteta

Its going to spiral down to Arteta sadly. The club wont approach another club to buy out a contract.
Allegri wont be interested and as usual Arsenal will stumble along trying to cheat the system. Its so predictable and we are just a faded force without real ambition or prepared to do whats required.

Yesterday, Pochettino spoke on live tv and said: ā€œWe have to wait for the return to Europe to take decisions according to the projects that are presented, I am open to listenā€.

So, don’t believe the rumours about him waiting for his next job or just taking a time off. If we’re serious about him, maybe he’ll listen to us.

I think he will. We got the money but are we willing to spend it? I have to agree with stroller here and feel like were going to try and cheat the system again. Hope in proved wrong and the board actually pull their fingers out.

This sums up my thoughts exactly. It’s really quite scary how much we have fallen, the idea that Poch would even be interested in us seems far fetched to me.

Rodgers is the third best manager in the league currently what are you talking about :joy:

Your being very snobby if you are turning down Rodgers

Ancelotti really shouldn’t be a candidate if you want to achieve something in the league.

I mean I like him but his league record just isn’t very good. Don’t know why there’s such a difference between him in the CL and in the league though.

I disagree he’s the one manager that could turn this club right around after over a decade of decay.

His man management skills are sensational and he is brilliant at making players better.
