Duncan Castle is a Mourinho/Jorge Mendes mouthpiece.
Although a final decision on his future is yet to be taken, Emery is said to have just “one to two games of credit” left with the Arsenal hierarchy as the November international break approaches. Mourinho, who is understood to have dined with Raul Sanllehi last week, has impressed Arsenal’s head of football with his plans for the squad.

Our board would turn us into a circus if they choose Mourinho.
They got Emery because he was a cheaper option than a genuine world class manager and thought he would be able to paper over the cracks.
Getting Mourinho would be like getting a bigger, more expensive roll of wall paper, that’s well past its sell by date to cover over the same cracks.
What’s happening?
No planning, just reactionary decisions that will drag us down even further.

Mourinho would be worth it, if only to ramp up the banter and annoy fans

I don’t care for a more defensive team. We’ve not been that since Graham/early Wenger. I want to see all out, offensive, gung-ho football at the carpet.

Mourinho on a two year contract could be interesting, the first year would help change the club with all semblance of Wenger world gone and the second would prove his worth if he still has it as a top manager.
I’m not sure Mourinho still has the fight needed in him to win trophies but a 2 year contract could be worth the risk.
He is not at all my first choice but I would definitely take 2 years of Mourinho (usually his max shelf life at a club anyway these days) over Emery.
I’d much rather have any of Klopp. Allegri, Guardiola, Poch, Rodgers, Howe or even the guys at Sheffield Utd or Wolves over Mourinho though but of course whether they could be made available or want the job is a completely different matter (obviously Klopp and Guardiola no chance unless they are masochists).
