No no no. That will backfire. Itās time to splash the cash, as itās bleeding obvious that you can have the best squad in the world with the wrong manager and still have terrible results. Allegri is no filth, but there are other well-established options out there. (oh, wait, was your post ironic?)
We need a George Graham type manager to drag this bunch of overrated, over paid under performing players and teach them what it means to wear The Arsenal shirt , to step off the team bus wearing a blazer , shirt and the club tie , wearing the sleeve length that the captain nominates on match day .
Wether you like it or not , Graham MADE this club . He MADE Adams , he made the modern Arsenal and he MADE Wengers foundation, Wenger has left nothing but a rotten core for Emery to build on .

Rafa: Never won one. Last won a league title 2004.
Only one of them is seen as finished though.

I think itās because Rafa has accepted firefighting jobs in the past (i.e.: Chelsea). Also thereās an assumption that heād take a short term contract, get the team organized, play crappy football, get Top 4 and then everyone can assess the partnership from there.
On the other hand Mourinho has burnt basically every bridge there is at this point. Heās guaranteed to fall out with his players, guaranteed to play crappy football and guaranteed to leave any club in worse shape then it was in when he was hired.

Deffo rather Mourinho than Rafa.
Rafa is basically a better Emery before Emery was Emery. With better social skills I guess.

Yeah i donāt want Rafa, heās decent upgrade on Emery but he isnāt the sort of guy thatāll have us competing for EPL titles or at the pointy end of the CL.
A decent upgrade on Emery is all we need to make Top 4 this year. Iām not advocating anything beyond a 6 month appointment for Rafa. Mourinho would never take an interim appointment which gives him too much time to wreck the club even more.

Yeah I really believe there should be an interim appointment whether itās Freddie or Rafa. If we take the leak that thereās no plan at face value, I really donāt want Raul and Edu scrambling to sell someone on the project mid-season unless itās Allegri.
I think you have to be on the immediate look out if you go to Freddie.
Sounds nice in principle till the end of the season but and itās very possible heās out his depth you need someone else.
This luxury of getting to may on a coach is utopia imo.
So put Rafa in till then and make Freddie the assistant.
