I swapped him out as captain in my Fantasy Football team. 
Bit of a debate online on where Salah ranks in terms of all-time African players.
Iāve seen people being very hesitant to put him in the top(or the top) spots. Yet, people would be quick to put him pretty high up PL lists.
I guess his lack of success with Egypt plays a part.
Where would you rank him?

I believe Salah will be remembered as an all-time PL great. But has he done something for Egypt?
An all-time African player should achieve something for their country, donāt you think?
He had the chance in the 2021 final when another PL great Mane won the cup.

Heās up there with George Weah and Eto but Salah is easily one of the best PL players thereās been.
Maybe Iāve forgotten how Etoāo used to play, but prime Salah is unstoppable.

Yeah I donāt remember Etoāo being as talented.
Admittedly I have not seen La Liga version Etoāo.
Looking at his honours though, won Afcon twice, 4 times Africa player of the year and Afcon all time top goalscorer so I guess he eclipses Salah in terms of honours.
Then you havenāt seen anything of him. 
One of the top 3 number 9s of this century imo, and one od the best players in the world during his prime (2004-2009).

Interesting, he did have what I consider his best year(and last) at Barca in 2008-2009 when he won the treble.
I saw that but never got as blown away as Salah skinning Chelsea, City, United defenders.
Debatable he even cracks top 5, penalty monster who when all is said and done has 1 PL and 1 CL.
Not even sure heās above Kolo Toure nevermind Yaya.

I know Iāll get roasted for this, but prime Salah immediately eclipses most players who ever played for us bar a very small handful.

He was very consistent ever since he got to Barca until he left, very hard to decide which was his best.
In 2005 he was 3rd in FIFA best player of the world award, in 2006 I think Ronaldinho, Henry and Etoāo were the 3 best players in the world (at least if you ignore the WC).
Was an absolute beast, could score any kind of goal, play as an any kind of forward you wantā¦ Back to the goal, go in behind, drop deep, take on full backsā¦
Idk, when I see Jesus I see a lot of Etoāo in him, except thereās a tiny diference Etoāo was an absolute GK slayer in front of the goal, ruthless and clinical, while Jesusā¦ Is Jesus. While also being a better athlete and much quicker. Fucking beast. Great team player also. Freak stamina too. It was almost like you had 2-3 players in one in his Barca days.

Salah is definitely top 10 African players ive seen. Possibly top 5. His consistency and output have been incredible.
Yaya and Eātoo are 1 and 2 for me. George Weah third (second in ability to Okocha). Toss up between Drogba and Salah for 4 and 5.

Yaya Toure has such an overrated legacy btw. That season in 2013-2014 has people thinking it was always like that when that wasnāt the case.
Dude became one of the laziest players around. He used to score the occasional banger that had people screaming but he stopped bothering tracking back. His game actually became sluggish. Pep had none of it and sent him packing.
Went to fucking Olympiacos and played only handful of games. Dude was a mess.
