True, don’t let the lack of left winger take away the importance of this signing.
Last season, not having a good solution for this position cost us the title. We had to experiment with Havertz, Trossard, Rice and it was still inadequate.
Glad to have a new option and one that is well suited for the role.

It really is. He’s that good that he can do a very good job as an #8 too but the dude is quite clearly a #6 and his best performances here have come there.
In the end, it was Nelli himself to make decisions on the field and the one to take the shot.
That golden era under Wenger created a generation of Arsenal fans all over the world. And now Mikel is doing his bit in creating a whole new generation. Just need to add a few trophies now.

Saliba and Gabriel CB pairing. White and Calafiori making the flanks their own. Merino and Rice commanding the midfield. Odegaard doing bits in the final third. Saka and Havertz spearheading the attack. It’s time to cook this league.
One class left winger and we’re favourites to win the league imo. Even against the corrupt Manchester club.

He has already spent time at Newcastle early in his career.

The midfield issue has been pretty long standing. While I get that people are pretty worried about attacking depth at the moment it was essential this was addressed.
And addressed with something other than crossing our fingers and hoping for Thomas Partey to stay fit or Jorginho to play a workload that wouldn’t work for a player in the latter stages of his career.
Really good, experienced option at a good price. Nice deal all round.
