27 minutes since @Bl1nk posted this on Merino’s own thread and not a single post. Shame on you OA.

Welcome to the Arsenal Mikel. Win us the league.

Ode will change to #10 and Merino takes #8

My thinking too. The rightful heir to the number 10 first and foremost.

The Mikel Merino transfer saga played as a film

they played together for a while also which bodes well because they already know each other’s game well. So they shouldn’t need long to click again.

This late in the window? Would mean all those sold Odegaard kits would be incorrect

Would he even be able to change his number after playing a match?

The numbers aren’t fixed until the official squad is submitted at the end of the transfer window.

But we’re saving #10 for Musiala/Williams/Sane/Osimhen anyway. :saliba:

Ah gotcha. I’d hope if there was a number merry-go-round the club shop would offer some sort of trade in deal.

10 or 16 are the obvious choices

Can they make the change now with the season already having started though?

I’d like to see that but doubt that happens now

That would be surprising since none of them will ever play for Arsenal :grinning:

I think it will be 23 or 10 for Merino, in that order. Odegaard isn’t changing numbers in my opinion.
