Tbf we don’t know what 99% of the rest of the clubs employees do either.
They both arrived in the same catastrophic panic window so at least they have something in common.
Do you honestly believe anyone would find THAT 7ft German intimidating though?
This guy is freakin scary!!!
After watching Mustafi try to defend for the past few years, this dance finally makes sense
This is very encouraging. I have watched each of these players many times each so I can speak to their quality, if we can get scouts in who can identify the next generation of Edozies and the Wilson-Eshbrands and bring them to Arsenal then the future will certainly be bright.
I cannot get on board with this, if he does get it I’ll support it but it just doesn’t make sense to me.
I also have to look at what else is out there and other than Poch I don’t see much else tbf.
Others are rejoicing but I’ll sit on the fence until I get proven wrong and after watching this shower of shit he fucking better make me look a right cunt!!
Darko Gyabi is definitely in the new Star Wars
Hmm
Seems this is happening… moving to my resigned/supportive mode now.
Welcome home Mike.
From small dick to castration. Club with no balls.
A good summary of Emery’s managerial career. Good thing that Godteta is the robust, leather-skinned, rugged basque that we need, not the eunuch, vampirish, soft skinned, inactive vertebrae abomination of a basque that is Emery.
Cluster fuck of Spanish onions everywhere I look with something related to Arsenal.
This is such a huge gamble and still underwhelming, but as per usual, my excitement levels are inexplicably increasing. Anything different to the shite we’ve been dining on is a welcome reprieve.
No clue how this will turn out. Can do nothing but back Higgsbosonteta and hope he proves to be the greatest manager who ever lived
I feel exactly the same way. I know I am excited but then I was excited when Freddie took over as interim manager and that hasn’t turned out that well. Having said that, Arteta is definitely rated more than Freddie so maybe he will do better.
Overall, I have low expectations from him and Arsenal so maybe I am cautiously excited A top 10 finish is the most we can get out of this season and I think he would have done well to achieve that.
Honestly, this is flawed thinking. We’re seven points off 4th and while i dont expect us to claw that back if hes even half decent he’ll get us 5th/6th. Otherwise it’s a failure imo.
I think 5th or 6th, with these set of players (my confidence in these set of players is very low) would be him having exceeded expectations. Other than the fact that he has no experience at this level, there are things like his unfamiliarity with these players and therefore needing time figuring out how to get each of them to perform. Let’s not forget, these players are low on confidence right now, don’t have the best of attitudes and then some of them are just utter crap.
I think an inexperienced manager like him coming into a club like Arsenal, with a full pre-season behind him, will do well to keep us in and around top 4 in his first full season, with these set of players.
Feel like it will be announced today.
Considering everything, this is exciting.
