I had to enter the final two ballots and no luck. Started taking my son for his birthday when he turned 4, so he’s gone to 1 match in May in the last 3 season. No luck with this stupid ballot. I have a ST and now hoping to find one via TX with the same entry point as me and then he’ll just come to my seat with me or need to find 2 together (I’ll even take club). Furious. I don’t know how reds and silvers managed to deal with this all season.
Also used my rewards points to enter the rewards draw for Bournemouth and doesn’t look like I won there. Thise rewards scheme is absoute pants. Have 1000 pts left and they’ll likely all go to the Everton draw in hopes of taking my son. Of course they are charging 100pts per entry for that one unlike 50pts per entry for BOU.

That new season ticket is interesting, presumably they’re not stripping the CL group games from everyone who already has one?? In which case I’m not sure it’ll make much difference.
Anything that takes me up the list will do but prices getting ridiculous for what you get now ST wise.

Got cock-blocked from the ballot cause I renewed my membership on the 25th of August instead of 21st of August last year. Fair enough for the leage stage I imagine, buy really weird that the club decides to enforce the embargo in the semis where there wasn’t one for the quarters or the later stages of the league phase.
They should do it for all games every season tbh. Make it 31st August or something and then you don’t get people signing up mid-season for popular games.
Glad they did it but does suck in your case with it being just a few days over the date back in August.
The intent of the embargo is to prevent opposition fans buying up home end tickets. And like I said, it was fair for the league stages, even though the embargo deadline was before the CL fixtures were announced.
But enforcing an August 2024 embargo for the Semi finals in April 2025 seems stupid as there is no way of knowing how far we’d make it in the champions league or who we’d face. Even more so in my case as I’ve attended 10+ games this season including champions league matches and the quarter final vs. madrid (where the embargo was only placed from the date of the draw - March 3rd).
I don’t see a problem with the embargo, they should’ve done it for all earlier rounds as well.
At least doing it properly for the semi is better than nothing. Just the date should be consistent every year and for all matches so people know from the off.
Arsenal scrapped auto renewal for season ticket renewals, and I think for other memberships (I had a red membership which hasn’t renewed, which I wanted to cancel anyway, so was happy with the outcome).
