When all was said and done, Gallas should’ve cried a bit too to take it up a notch.
I didn’t have any issue with that Birmingham moment tbh. Horrific injury and filled with controversy. Bit of emotion. Seems it’s more ok to scream at refs instead (which is worse).
Yeah. Shouldn’t have reacted like that as a captain primarily, but I completely understood it at the time. Actually I had the basically the same reaction while watching the game lol, was absolutely furious with Clichy.
As said above, he was simply a poor choice for a captain. A warrior but a known hothead, it was always going to end that way. Not sure what was Wenger thinking there.
