Martin Ødegaard (c) (8)

OK, well im assuming flexo was talking about the cut inside and spam it in type cross we saw 95749473 times from saka the other day.

Rather than the ‘’cutbacks’’ from the byline we will see from him, white, Odegaard, timber etc now that Odegaard is back.

Technically will all fall into your crosses checkbox but completely different and one is much more effective.

Means the times saka or martinelli do cut inside to whip it in will be less frequent, but usually work better when we don’t do it so repetitively too.

You are now forgiven for not inviting me to the wedding.

He was probably scared that you would have fondled his hair he just had styled. :henry2:

Wrap him in cotton wool for the next two weeks and let him head off to Dubai for the first week of that. Need him fresh for when we resume.

Good he’s back.
Can’t wait for the Rice Merino Odegaard midfield.

Partey has been good but i think he should drop to the bench. He gets turned so easily even when he’s too close to the player. Us retaining possession fast is key to our game.

Nothing against Partey and no scapegoating. I just think we’d do better with Rice at 6.

Good to have him back. He wasn’t necessarily amazing but he provided us with two moments of his quality. His assist for Martinelli and then his nicely weighted ball into Saliba at the end.

Well he left Colney to go on duty with Norway. I suppose him building up fitness isn’t the worst thing. Just please don’t take any risks ffs.

Absolute joke

I would much rather he go and play for fitness and rhythm.

That injury was a freak result. How many international breaks has he went on with Norway before and not got injured.

Sounds crazy but it benefits us if his minutes can be managed during the games. He needs to build match fitness. Risky with what happened last time when he played for them but such is football.

It’s not a friendly. It won’t be a light jog for me to be comfortable to allow this.

His duties with NT has cost us valuable points and it can’t rewarded by Ode playing more NT games during his return.

Happy for this. He looked a little off the pace against Chelsea so will definitely help to have him back with some minutes under his belt.

Should build some good confidence against lower level quality players too.

Up to the player really. Odegaard should know his body best. If he doesn’t feel comfortable he can simply put his foot down and not get involved, or at least not as much.

In the Chelsea game he wasn’t that effective in the first half but he actually grew into the game the more he played.
He didn’t look particularly tired in the end.
This could be good for him to build back his fitness.

Just hope he won’t have to play on a terrible pitch
