Yes and it’s linked directly to qualification for the World Cup… so there is an obvious incentive for managers to get good results in those fixtures.

Course it is, just seen him manage 90 mins 2 days ago, now he can just train for 2 weeks and be ready for our game.

Yeah, but Norway were only supposed to play on Thursday (then on Sunday). More than enough time to recover if he’s fit.
I mean the Sunday one would be fine but him playing 90 mins after 2 months out then having a 3 day turn around before going again doesn’t sound sensible.
Let’s hope this is just them waffling and ultimately it came down to Odegaard telling them he doesn’t want to risk it.
