Martin Ødegaard (c) (8)

Odin saw the Odegaard disrespect last month and decided to punish us.

Team is in desperate need of a spark at the minute. Time to show why he’s the captain of the side.

I don’t think he would have made a major difference today. The team was as flat as it gets.

Cunts

He’s back in first team training today and has also not been selected by Norway for the international break :ode2:

Ode apparently married his girlfriend in secret in the last few days

Ode gaarded the marriage from public. Good for him.

Can’t wait to have his attacking/pressing influence back from the off. Doubt he starts on Sunday though.

The pressure on him to magically fix our broken attack instantly. I feel for him.

No different to before, he was always under that pressure just people see it now :joy:

Still an underrated aspect of his game.

I can’t wait to watch football that isn’t based on spamming 46 crosses and hoping it falls to someone in red.

Welcome back, Martin :+1:

If you think that’s not happening again with him back you’re gravely mistaken.

Doubt we’ll see it against Chelsea because they don’t seem to be that type of team under Maresca.
However, we play Forest at the Emirates after that so you best believe they’ll park the bus and force us into that type of game.

We’ll still do that with Odegaard too. Maybe he’ll reduce it down to 39 crosses.

A couple of his goals have come from crosses, haven’t they?
In fact, it’s a bit of a trademark of his to arrive just outside/inside the box and slot the ball in from a cross from the left.

Lmao

Are people counting pullbacks from the byline as crosses?

I see them very different and think we play a vastly different game with Martin, much more intricate with triangles between him saka and white, so not sure what the last few comments are about.

I’ll take that improvement

You mean cutbacks? If so, yeah. They’re a type of cross.
And usually we are very good at them, especially with Martin in the side.

So then really you agree with @Flexo lol. Just semantics about the word ‘cross’.

We will play much better and a different type of game with Martin back.

Not really. We’ll still use crosses. We’re just gonna be much better at them with Martin. He’ll either help us deliver better, more intricate crosses, or he’ll be at the receiving end of them and hopefully score.
