Surely he’s out for at least a month I’d guess (I’m probably being very generous here).
@Teamnewsandtix states he will return in November. That isn’t so bad. What I expected to be honest.
Ligament damage on the ankle is horrible. It’s very stubborn just how you would expect a rotator cuff tear to be. Fingers crossed the healing and rehab goes well.

I’m just accepting that he probably won’t be back till January, that way I won’t be disappointed.
Always starts as a ‘few weeks’ and then becomes half a season.
Think his departure has royally fucked our campaign now. Will be a miracle if we manage to do just fine without him tho.
And then there’s a worry of how long will it take for him to get back to his best.
Though he hasn’t had the brightest start so far, mind.

I think we will just do fine.
Probably not going to score a lot (Kai has to adjust his goal scoring expection), but our defense is still one of the best.
Merino will help a lot, and I am still positive.
Unfortunate but not a disaster.

Impossible to say if it’s a disaster at this point but it’s a massive blow. One of the most severe we could suffer really. He’ll miss a massive amount of the CL group. He’s a massive part of how we break down teams.
I’m certain this will cost us important points.

We proved that we could change our game to be a more defensive side and grind out results.
Yes, it is a blow, but we are not a team that immediately turn bad if missing one or two players.
I am sure the team is ready for this test, and we will survive.
