I agree, it might not be for every game but in these games against the weaker teams where we can hardly create anything at the moment it could be a difference maker.

Odegaard as a forward thinking CM is absolutely something I’d love to see, if we bring in another creative before the window shuts then I’ll completely reassess my opinion that this has indeed been a poor window for both fans and Mikel. Even someone cheap like Aouar would completely revolutionize how we could set up and what our creative attack might look like on paper.

He clearly excels in short passing and small spaces. That is where his strengths lie. Doesn’t make sense to put him in front of the defense or centre midfield.
