Manchester United

There’s a subset of fans who love to gatekeep. Anyone not born within a square mile of a team’s training ground isn’t a real fan because soccer is just so tribal in the UK and outsiders don’t understand. GTFO with that nonsense.

In reality someone traveling 500 miles to watch a team they love is admirable. I’m super jealous. I don’t know when I’ll get back to London. Probably not any time soon.

In order not to offend the clique ………
I was listening to Talksport this morning and it was boring as there was some Manchester United fans called in
The 1st fan phoned in and he had to travel 5 miles to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford !
The 2nd caller phoned in and he lived less that half a mile way from the ground and they went home at halftime.
You wouldn’t believe the banter that caused !

Watching motd…Bruno Fernandes had an absolute shocker.

Two poor misses and another one where ronaldo was wide open but he shot instead.

All in the first half.

Idk that you can build a midfield with Bruno and Pogba. They both need to be on the ball.

We don’t talk about Bruno

United couldn’t really afford to drop those points today when the next 3 are City away, Spurs home and Pool away.

Watford were total ass in this match. It wasn’t at all a case of the plucky relegation threatened team playing their hearts out. They defended horribly, offered nothing in attack, and half the team didn’t even seem that motivated.

But United kept missing. :poldi:

Man Utd fans fighting each other trying to pick who’s the problem between Ronaldo and Bruno. Love it.
Sure, they both missed chances yesterday but both were very much involved in their build-up and the main reason those chances were created in the first place.
As an outsider watching their matches, it’s so clear Ronaldo and Bruno, and pains me to say it but Pogba too, are a class or two above the rest.

Imagine seeing Telles, Shaw, AWB and Dalot fucking up every attack possible and somehow crossing it from wing to wing, Rashford looking like a lost child every time he plays and Sancho blowing more hot and cold than a broken air condition(although that’s expected when he’s picked so inconsistently) but Bruno and Ronaldo are your problem.

How many more transitions do United need? Ancelotti should have been the successor to Ferguson but they didn’t go down that route. He should have replaced Moyes but they didn’t go down that route. It’s a good few years too late now I’m sure the guy would rather head back to Italy when Real find a new toy to replace him with.

He’s a better manager than Poch tbf

No doubt and he’d be perfectly fine with the dressing room egos too. But I just think there’s no sense to hiring a manager who isn’t in his prime anymore just because he’s better than other managers who are in their primes but just aren’t that good

The last time Ferguson gave them advice on choosing a manager, it was Moyes.
It’s as if he wants to see Man U stay in the position they’re in, to make himself look even better. :grinning:

Why would Ancelotti give up his sweet Madrid gig?

Why would he leave Madrid?

It makes no sense to have him come in as a temporary fix while Ragnick helps them build out this RB-esque structure.

Unless they’re giving him a year, no transfer control and saying there are no targets beyond avoiding relegation.

Yes please.

Gift that keeps on giving

These pricks aren’t playing today. Was really looking forward to watching Man Utd and chill.
They and Spurs really need to start balancing shit out, they’re a drug now that Arsenal rarely plays.

Why does Pain look like Will Smith?

If we didn’t fuck up our executive group with Raul, Sven etc; we would have left United behind a season or two ago.
I don’t see any progress in their play. They do have good set of players but just don’t see any cohesion.

It is will smith
