Premier League proven myth in the bin as Gabriel solidifies himself as one of the better CBs in the league whilst Maguire continues to develop a reputation so bad he’s become a laughing stock.
Our right back from Japan, with top flight experience in Italy, arrives for half the price that premier league proven AWB does and is clearly the better full backs in every imaginable way.
Talent ID > league experience.
White is a great example of a player proven in the PL with ample ability to translate those talents at a club that utilises his qualities.

No disagreement I wouldn’t even say AWB was Premier League proven. He only had one season and United decided to be impulsive. I can’t recall anyone else being in for him. Very likely his second season at Palace (If he stayed) proves to be very average.

It’s more like a teardown and build something entirely new job at this point.
If a manager in the Pep mold like Ten Hag does come in, how many current players could really be starters for a team of that style that wants to challenge for highest honors?
I’d say Sancho, maybe Varane, and that’s about it. Bruno is great in his own way but not a good fit for a highly structured team that is supposed to be patient with the ball in the attacking third, rather than taking lots of risks. Shaw has the tools in theory but he has never really put it together consistently for multiple seasons and managers like Mourinho that want commitment and tactical focus have disliked him.
When you really think about it, they need an entirely new central midfield…and an almost entirely new back five…and almost an entirely new attack. 
This is why our display against them was so amazing.
