Would it? Man United fans I know wanted City to beat us to the league. If they were that fussed about City winning the treble they wouldnât be actively cheering them on.
Really no upside for me of City winning the treble.

I would prefer to see the champions league trophy elude them for an eternity but still say we came second to the best team in the country

Our rivalry with United back then cannot be compared to that of City now to be fair.
City deserves to win the title this year, Man Utd back then were lucky bastards and there wasnât much difference between the two teams
Madrid have to stuff them, otherwise Iâve got to support the red side in the fa cup final.
Donât want them winning a treble, ideally they end up with a PL / FA cup double now but canât see inter doing what Madrid donât.
Donât want United drawing level on FA Cups any time soon, so I think Iâll be leaning towards City for that one.

If Man City lose to Real Madrid then go on to win the FA Cup it will just be a consolation prize and nowhere near enough to make up for their CL failure.
But it will stop Man U winning the domestic cup double, which we were the first club to win with Graham.

I think it has been mentioned before that people still look at Man City as being harmless and just an oil club. But they continue like this and theyâre going to overcome the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool to titles won and then theyâll start being worried about the beast thatâs growing
Yep, this is basically my point. Thatâs why the world their dog want them to win things if their own club canât. Because they can justify it and pretend no one cares about them. Man City winning wonât annoy Man United fans - Arsenal fans are just clutching at straws if thatâs what theyâre using to try and make themselves feel better.
Man United fans have been some of the worst at rubbing in the fact that we lost the league. Just look on Red Cafe. They have a thread called âARSENAL OFFICIALLY BOTTLE ITâ where they just laugh at us. And another one asking people to apologise to Gary Neville.
