Man City vs Arsenal (PL) 0-0

Guy has more kids than brain cells.

A bit ridiculous, all the fear in here. Some of you sound like you want the ground to open up underneath you. Fuck that. A little bit of fear is a positive to be employed against City. Anyone think that City aren’t a bit on edge looking at Sunday? You fucking bet they are, and we have to take advantage of that. This is not the Arsenal of old walking in there.

Sometimes fear is well founded.

Our record at the Etihad is abysmal. Also the 4-1 season collapse from last campaign still feels fresh.

The fear is big.

I’m thinking 2-1 to the Arsenal, or possibly 2-2 with City equalising quite late on.

We’re the in form team and the pressure is on Man City to win so I think we’ll get something from this.
I’ll go 1-1, with Odegaard to score, although a draw will suit Liverpool when they beat Brighton.

Martinelli is needed for this one.

I may look silly come Sunday night but I really believe we aren’t losing. Not saying we win but I don’t think we lose.

Pushed for a score I say 2-1 :red_circle::white_circle:

They may be, but I’d probably feel a little better if I knew how healthy our key pieces were.

I also don’t like how the dreaded ā€œnarrativeā€ is setting up that Walker and Stones being out is a huge advantage to us as if Pep doesn’t have the ability to put together a backline of four solid defenders.

Is it wrong of me to be glad wife is a little sick and we had to cancel Easter gathering so I can watch this undisturbed???

Not at all!!!

Any news on KdB’s fitness?

Always good to look on the bright side, unless of course you put laxatives in her coffee

I must be crazy for feeling slightly optimistic going into this game? I hope we go there to win and not show signs of fear otherwise they’ll pick up on it and we’ll get hammered.

Show them no respect and go for it, we done it in 98 and 02 away at the exisiting champions at the time. It’s time to do it again.

No that is totally fair.

My partner wanted to go away for Easter and I said no because it’s been such a hectic last few months so we’ve got 4 days of uninterrupted chilling out in a very quiet London because everyone else has fucked off to deal with the carnage at airports and I’m loving it.

I mean, Man City haven’t lost this year, so not sure this is strictly true. They are always in form. I don’t think them getting a draw v Liverpool automatically makes us the in form team really. They’re at home and our record in the league there is abysmal, they’re favourites for sure.

What about the draw vs Chelsea ?

I agree they’re favourites due to being at home and the winners of the last 3 league titles and current European champions.

But In the last 2 months we’ve been the form team of the premier league and it’s not really up for debate, 8 wins and a GD of + 30 or whatever in that time is absurd.
