Bad idea to sell this guy, but if he already wants to leave. Not much in it to keep someone here then.
Losing that EL final against Chelsea still hurts. We are so mediocre.

surely some clouds, rain and wind aint enough to weaken the mind of a uruguayan warrior. If thats the case though, he should be sold immediately.
60m minimum. Otherwise they can fuck off.
After seeing Spurs getting Ndombele, makes me care even less.
He can go if he wants, we’re achieving jack shit with or without him
“It says here.”
“Say something like…”
Might be worth trying to get as big a fee as possible and buy Ceballos with the money. Need a player like Ceballos more than one like Torreira long term with Guendouzi being better suited as a 6. In an ideal world could get rid of Xhaka and let Maitland-Niles and Bielik back up Guendouzi and Ceballos but that’s not gonna happen.
Still, should really try for Ceballos, as it looks like Madrid really is in for my boy Fabián Ruiz (insert that bit about superior football scouting knowledge amirite @Midfield_Maestro ?? ) and he’s in a situation where he should welcome a move to a shitehouse like Arsenal in order to get continuity and show his talent.
Plus he’s got epic racist/franquista tweets as a 16 yr old. “In my neighborhood you didn’t have to score a hat trick to bring home the game ball, it was enough to be a gypsy.” Never forget that jewel.
I’m guessing he isn’t gypsy
Ooorn
That’s good.
Just like a new signing.
That’s good except we still absolutely need to replace Ramsey with a younger player, as any combination of our current midfielders offers almost no creativity/ball-carrying/interesting ball-progression both now or in the future, unless you think Nelson or Smith-Rowe can be converted to CM successfully (or believe Joe Willock is the future? haha). All major long shots of course. Given this and given we have a number of young 6s in Guendouzi, Maitland-Niles and Bielik (of course the only one of those you’d bet on being good enough is the former, but still, good to have quality and a bit of quantity), and given Xhaka either doesn’t have much market value or Emery/our decision makers are dumb enough to want to hold on to him, selling Torreira does seem to make a bit of sense given our current monetary constraints.
This “I´m not happy in London, the weather, the language, so i want to leave” is complete bollocks imo. I´m pretty sure it is hard but if people like Tevez, Agüero, Gilberto Silva and a million others from tough places and lives in south america could handle it (maybe after 2-3 years) Im sure Lucas can too.
He doesn’t look to me as a delicate, spoiled, high class, weak type of character. On the contrary, he’s from a smallish town in Uruguay where not everything is a safe place and a beautifull paradise. He thrived in spite of that, leaving his town alone at a young age to another completely different country.
No big deal, besides, he’s got the “garra charrúa!” amiright?
Just get some south american players who drink mate and he’ll feel at home.
The weather should suit him at the moment
We should make him our president. CEO or something… Really.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s all agent engineered to get a new deal.
Those fuckers are grimey like that.
