Yeah, am wondering the same now. I thought he had played as LB more often than just 3 times in the last 3 season. If that’s the case, I think Tierney starts. Also, why would this guy want to join us if he knows he won’t be playing too much as a CB, which I guess would be his preferred position, given he’s mostly played there?

Arteta must see something in Lisandro’s game that allows him to not only be a solid defensive full back but also play a creative role from that side. Seems a multi-faceted footballer with the added bonus of seamlessly filling in at CB and being in line to cover Partey when he inevitably goes down.
Thankfully the club have no more patience for Tierney’s injuries and want to go big in this area. I love the intent which tbh I’ve never seen from Arsenal before in a transfer window. Nobody can say the manager isn’t being backed.
Having said that though, I’m sure United are going to come in swinging with a bid very soon. Nervy one this.
