It’s Cristo! He probably has about 12!

My partner and I usually do one for ourselves around Mid-December as we usually celebrate Christmas separately with our families. Sometimes we’ve opened in the mornings, sometimes in the evenings. Kinda depends on our mood.

Afterwards she then celebrates Christmas with her family on 25th, and I with mine on the 24th. Both our families live abroad so it can get a little tricky and there’s been more than a few arguments about it :joy:

For all the plaudits that they’re getting they sit second in the table and have been beaten 5 times already this season.

It’s crazy to think how little quality their truly is in England at the moment that a team that have lost 5 of their opening 14 games are sitting in second.

I was never a Rodgers fan but kind of believed I’d be ok with him replacing Emery because we were that desperate.

But he really is a nothing manager despite Leicester sitting second. After the CL bottle job last season I can’t foresee them being in the top 4.

The CL bottle job last season (absolutely stunning demise tbh) coupled with him tanking that Liverpool title challenge a few years ago - that’s the level of Rodgers in this league.

Think he’s a good manager but doesn’t hold a candle to managers of Klopp’s ilk. Something is missing and don’t think he’ll ever win the big titles.

However, I’d still take him here in a heartbeat over Arteta. But I guess I could say the same for quite a few managers out there. Not really saying much given the state of things.

I still think Rodgers is a top manager and was one of my top choices with Pochettino, Allegri and Ancelotti.
Considering Leicester are not one of the big clubs and they have very few top quality players, they are above a lot of clubs with far better squads than them.

How some people preferred Arteta over him is unbelievable.

He beat spurs away with Albrighton starting and a team lacking any kind of depth. Being anywhere near the top 4 with the players avaliable and the budget is great in my opinion.

5 losses in 14 doesn’t look great but I suppose it shows football is also about wins, would you like it better if they were 8-3-3 and sitting 2nd ? That would be the same number of points.

It’s crap to be honest mate and says a lot about the current state of the league that a team can be in the title race with 5 losses before even the half way point of the season.

Bottle job nothing coach who’s at his level.

I’m not in love with Rodgers and yeah they bottled top 4 last season, I just don’t want to be overly critical of a coach that has a similar standard squad as we do and yet comfortably finished above us last season and is 13 points above us as things stand.

Exactly this, mate.

Leicester have done exceptionally well (again!) this season despite a number of injuries that rival those cunts at the top.

They probably won’t win the league but that’s only cos they’ll kick themselves over consistency. That’s the sort of thing we should be saying about Arsenal or Manchester United, not Leicester.

It’s probably time to recognise Leicester as a top drawer PL side and not just knock them because they’re not in Serie A.

Leicester are here to stay imo. Could be looking at 7 teams for the top 6 places now

Still don’t have the financial muscle, fair play to them for substantially exceeding expectations in recent times though.

They can always take out a 120mil loan

Tbf they do have decent money behind them. They’ve been a little guilty imo of not quite investing a bit more because they have potential.
Much was made of them not making the 4. The Cups were arguably their biggest failing last season.

one good thing for Leicester is that they have a few youngish players all improving rapidly together at the same time, aka Harvey Barnes

Rodgers has got Leicester playing as such a well rounded team. Fair play to him.

unlucky for Leicester, the only problem they have is the backups for Vardy aren’t great, they should go for Giroud

James Maddison is a Gooner.
