Leicester City

I find it weird how players in the prem now a days grew up watching the same players I did

That’s one of the positive externalities of success and having classy quality players. Kids from all over grow up supporting your team.

It’s also one of the unseen things that will no doubt be damaged when you turn garbage like we have.

You stop watching football with the same enthusiasm at that point, in my opinion

As always this says more about me than the player but I’ve never heard of him :joy:

Another player out of my FF team.
He’s been one of their best players this season a bit like Tierney has been for us.

He’s probably been their best player played every game in the league

Fair enough but I clearly haven’t been paying attention

Huh

I’m honestly surprised to see that he appears to be highly rated. Feels a bit like when everyone used to call Wolves an exciting team.

He was just one of this season’s surprise packages I guess. If you did fantasy football you’d know him  He is the second highest scoring defender in FPL, points wise, and is cheaper than all the big names, so has been a popular pick.

I was just thinking very similar reading that tweet haha

Speaking to a City fan at work today and he’s a bit bittersweet about their cup run. They could get to Wembley and potentially a final if they get pasy ya-nitid.

They could end up there with no fans.

So sad that the greatest most prestigious final in the world the FA Cup will have to be played without fans for the 2nd time. Just not right.

So it seems like Vardy’s choice to not join us after 16/17 hasn’t cost him Champions League football, he’ll likely get a crack at that next season.

It was after 15/16 aus. He then played in the CL for Leicester in 16/17

And he’s still undefeated at home in the CL
