Kai Havertz (29)

He deserves some criticism but also deserves a lot of credit.
Some are trying to remove all his credits because of some questionable decisions he made.

We are undefeated against City two years in a row, the 4 consecutive league winners, a team that we did not have a win in like 15, 16 consecutive games.
If not because of the rigged red card on Trossard, we might have two wins from them this season.
Bar Pool, which team can confront them with confidence?
Pool was the league winner and that’s why they are on top of the league.

Who could have thought City only get 1 point from us and then we have a healthy in form Pool team charging for title, while we are having an injury crisis? Merino freak injury in training, Ode off for two months, Calafiori cannot stay healthy, Saka out for months, now Kai out, Martinelli out.
Then Rice was out of form for a period of time, Ode never in form, Trossard is the same as Rice, so does Martinelli and Kai. Even Saliba has way too many mistakes/slack off this season.

Not all that on Arteta.

Spurs. Almost every time.

Apart from when UAE/Pep paid Son to miss an open goal to stop us from winning the league.

I have nothing to say if you think Spurs did a great job on assembling a team

I’m fine with Arteta for the most part. Yes he made a few bad signings but he’s made allot more good ones and has shown he’s a very good quality manager any big team would be lucky to have.

I’m looking at the board like this :expressionless:

I thought your comment was in relation to a team that is able to confront Man City and get a result when they play them, quite regularly. Rather than assemble a team to win league titles and overthrow them.

holding his hammy and everything

I don’t see them having a team that is strong enough to challenge the title, nor giving City a real threat.
They just had some random performances here and there, and a few on City.
Not like they really had a good/better chance to win against City.

49 49 relationships!

That “relationships” line is definitely to get engagement from triggered Arsenal fans.

Nice of Kai to make a TikTok about his own injury.

That’s something Trump would say.

Either the doctors or Arteta is responsible for this.

Gross misconduct or a manager who keeps battering his players.

Pick one.

Amateur doctor analysis from me…

I think he damaged his hamstring here. Probably should have missed 3 weeks

I’m sure he wouldn’t have been available 4 days later if it was that bad at that point. It’s not like the docs are idiots.

Came on late on against girona.

Just playing devils advocate here but we’ve known of other situations where a player keeps quiet about niggles either because they want to play or they’re constantly feeling pain from one place or another and it didn’t cross his mind that it was an issue.

I think Kai and the medical team knew which means did Mikel know exactly how big a risk they were taking. If he’d been out for 3 weeks from then, would we have bought a striker? Was this why Mikel seemed to be begging for one in his pressers?

Curious. A bit like that Timber injury at the start of last season. He was clearly in a bad way but came out for the second half. I think it’s happened more recently too but the memory isn’t so good today.
