If so, he’s bang average, he’s the definition of a pace merchant.
Awful defensively, threatening going forward with his pace but his end product is poor.
Liverpool went for him because he had a 30m release clause, I think they’ll rotate him with Bradley.
He’s had that RC for a while I believe but nobody went for it.

Him being homegrown was probably also a big part of their calculation, same thing for Guehi.
They’re losing a lot of their HG players (TAA, Kelleher, likely Quansah and Elliott) this summer and have to replace some of them with other HG players because they’re tight to the limit for non-HG.

Liverpool are obviously transitioning to a new style of player by buying two attacking full backs in Frimpong and Kerkes, and in doing so, seem to be following PSG and City in this regard. Personally, I think this helps us initially, as it will leave VVD and their defence more exposed.
Yeah not worried since PSG’s back four model only works because their fullbacks are both world class.
I’d like us to have a proper fullback option as well but not many great options out there.
In fact, there’s an argument that both their fullbacks are actually the best RB and LB in the world.
