You don’t want Chelsea getting top prospects because eventually they’re gonna get it right
and when it doesn’t work out they have AFC and MUFC as their trust fund parents to bail them out

They already pretty much have got it right, they will be right up there next year imo.
They did well in a summer tournament but a year long slog in the league a different matter. Let’s see.

Midfield is at times unconvincing, their defence is suspect, no legit goal scorers other than Palmer and also a mediocre keeper
Their flaws will be exposed over a sustained campaign just like last season
I don’t see any of their signings that have raised their level at all

Their level will go up naturally even with no signings. They were the youngest squad last season with a new manager.
Think they have really talented players all over the pitch and a high floor in terms of depth. They’ll fall short because of experience but they will cause a lot of problems for the big teams.
I think quality is also an issue regardless of their age tbh
And in big games Palmer was looking spooky last season, stop him by giving him less space and not much else going on
I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea finishes 4th again with at least 1 domestic trophy.
They have all the ingredients to succeed again, as much as it hurts me to admit it.

No worries a few years from now we will but him for £40-50m when they find him not useful anymore.

MLS future is in midfield and Cala not proven reliable yet, plus he was seemingly bought to play LB.
Having Hato as the understudy to Gabriel for a couple of years would be perfect.
Chelsea unfortunately can offer him a quicker path though.
Especially with the money they got from us for Madueke.

No worries we probably pick him up from them in a couple of years anyway when their constant spending and how they are run makes him look not so good.
