I don’t understand all the hate. Regardless as to where Arteta decides to play him, Jakob Kiwior should absolutely always be the first name on the team sheet.

I think the addition of an apostrophe would clear up who you mean here. Since we haven’t had a player with the surname Roberts here, the apostrophe can only go in one place. So, OH NOOOOOOO!

If Holding turned up for another title run, Arteta is getting an angry house visit.
Classic waffling from Pete who reports on every single scenario until he eventually gets something right.
And the the usual aggregators treating it like some hig news because they saw the buzzword “exclusive”, like they don’t know better.
Following Serie A and with a lot of clubs looking for a defender, his name often appears in the list of potential targets.
I can’t see us moving him on in January unless a considerable offer comes in. However, that’d be hard to get from a club in Italy atm. And there’s also the fact that we’re already short at the back.
Him leaving means we need two defenders to come in, not just one.

I get he hasn’t played much but I feel like every chance he gets the less I want that to be repeated.
Clearly a lot of talent in there but he looks like a lost child at times. Perhaps he just doesn’t have the mentality and tactical awareness to play in this team, at least yet.

Ultimately he may not be good enough but he is being asked to do something that clearly is not his skill set
He is a CB that barely gets games in his position, looks a bit lost at FB and then you ask him to step in midfield like Zinchenko as well
Arteta can’t always ask players to do the same things, you have to find solutions

I just figured… It seems Arteta’s tactics is to play the shittiest defender in the middle not the actual best passer/technician from the back line.
That’s the only explanation I can find as a reason for not ever using White there.
No worse than any other player today tbh.
