Jack Grealish

I don’t think that’s a given. We’ve seen Havertz and Werner come in after bossing the BL and flopping. Let’s see how well Sancho does in the PL before deciding who’s better.

Grealish with better players could see his end product go up a level too.

Sancho position is harder to be consistent in than Grealish.
Right up on the wishlist but Grealish just looks more ready to go.
Needs to up his professionalism a touch and sky’s the limit for him.
England having Pep style players is something to build on as well.

The stats guys rate Grealish’s last season in the same line as Eden Hazard.

Grealish is a top signing. My fear is that he’ll get ‘Pep-ified’ like Bernardo, Sterling and Mahrez.

Is it? They both play on the wing effectively though Grealish is obviously more versatile.

@Powderfinger did make a good point about Sancho overperforming his numbers but he’s one of the best young talents around, not happy to see him going to United.

@Flexo : is that an article or tweet you’re referring to about Grealish /Hazard? Would be interested to see it.

Not to mention he’s 3 years younger then Eden was when he made his Madrid move and has been carrying his team.

Also I’m a abit of an ITK myself when it comes to Grealish. I did an IT apprenticeship with his older brother Kevin who i keep in touch with on fb. Iv messaged him regarding this and he’s just replied back with 2 winking emojis lol.

The difference between Sancho and Saka is pretty wide. Saka is far off Sancho right now.

Timo Werner has never looked as good as Sancho though. So that’s not really a fair comparison. Havertz will come good. But again, I don’t remember watching him in the Bundesliga and thinking “blimey, he’s good” in the same way I do Sancho.

The only issue for me with Sancho would be the fact that he will be managed by OGS. Which is obviously good for their rivals, but not for his development.

Grealish will be a success I’m sure. Man City will win the league by 22 points instead of 12 and that PL transfer tax will all be worth it.

Nah, he’s coming to Arsenal. No way he’s turning down Arsenal for City

Christ football has become boring. Another of the leagues best goes to City to win everything infront of 11 fans.

Oh well Villa can have ESR for £70 million

Be able to get into Saka ear now then for next season.

It’s a lot of money but if any player is worth it, Grealish is.
When Aston Villa were challenging for top four last season, Grealish was their most influential player, as soon as he was injured they slid down the table.
He is proven top quality in the PL and one of the best players in his position in Europe.

He was never going to come here unless we had gone for him a couple of seasons ago, or if none of the top clubs wanted him.

At Man City he’s going to be a replacement for Sterling if he leaves, to play alongside KDB and Foden and possibly behind Kane, if they get him as well.
So next season it’s not going to take a genius to work out whose likely to win the PL title.

I really hope this doesn’t eventually lead to us buying Bernardo Silva, Sterling, or Mahrez for a dumb amount of money.

Take it this is only from a money perspective because that’s some serious quality footballers.

I’d certainly take any of those at a smart amount of money though

I’d only take Silva tbh

Other two won’t react well to dropping down a level

It really does dishearten you though doesn’t it as a fan.

£100m on Grealish, £100m + on Kane potentially to add to KDB, Foden, Mahrez, Sterling, Silva and Jesus.

Dias, Laporte, Stones and Ake at CB. They’ve got Walker, Cancelo, Mendy and Zinchenko for full back options.

It’s insanity.

This one of them moves were everyone thinks city will kill it, but I have a random feeling he will flop.

Should of come here could of been a legend instead he’s just going to be another hoe in the brothel at city.

Even taking all our faults out of it, you are left wondering how you realistically can become a regular challengers again.
I guess Liverpool under Klopp gives you some hope.

It’s gratuitous, and FFP is horseshit, trying to think of players City have sold for substantial fees to even try to game the regulations and I’m coming up blank. Domestic football is completely dead.
