Jack Grealish

ESR to Villa :eyes:

Fucking hell Ā£100m…

Not that he won’t add a lot to the team. Him and Foden in the same team will be some force!

Villa fans crying.
Ngl, serves them right.
Pricks were making teams with Grealish-ESR-Buendia behind Watkins.
Reality check.

If you’re City, you prioritise the CF position, surely?

Unless of course they spend £120m on Kane as well.

Game over for the PL next season.

Foden and Grealish locks in my fpl when I do it :fire::fire:

Maybe they run it back next season with Grealish then sign Haaland the season after for £75mil.

I can’t see then signing both Harry and Jack.
If they do, Arsenal should certainly pull an Ozil on City. Too many players in there may become available for cut prices.

Surely we can poach Bernardo from them?

Knowing Pep this is probably Grealish

Looking at Kane this summer he looks exhausted and jaded physically, I would 100% be going for Haaland as well if I was City

Kane and Grealish would be some glorious PR though, especially in the summer they bring football home. Would pay for themselves in free kicks and penalties.

Kane may spend next season crying into Nuno’s beard lol

Is Grealish even that amazing? He’s good obviously, but Ā£100m good? If reports are true then Sancho is being sold for less. And he is 4 years younger than Grealish and better than him. This PL tax is a pisstake.

Grealish is that good IMO, not at his peak yet.

At City he’s going to go up a level, he’s quite a transformative signing. For City freshens up that midfield and they can still sell to offset the cost, someone like Bernado may have to leave.

But having Foden and Grealish as your next main men especially as KDB is about to be 30 is astute recruitment.

Could all wind up being BS though

Done well Villa holding onto him. That money secures their future after last season of a PL club again now.
That’s their priority and they can build from that position.
More or less assured of being a top 10 club now for a while.

I fucking hate City

There’s the league gone for the next couple of years…

Think some can drop the myth now that city don’t spend big now on transfers.

You make it sound like he is some unknown. The world and his dog know who Jack Grealish is. Yeah how astute, throwing more money than any other club can afford at the current English golden boy. Clever City, eh.

I was more making a comparison about the fee. Sancho has more years left in him as well. But if you play in the Premier League you have to smack an extra £30m on.

Sancho isn’t even better than Saka, let alone Grealish. :grimacing:

Being astute doesn’t mean you have to unearth a gem you can still be smart in the market going after a known quantity.

City could go for Sancho as well and deal a blow to United in the process but it just seems like they’ve moved on from him, true he’s younger but they’ve barely been linked to him since he’s left and become a very good player.

PL tax is a thing but remember Grealish has recently signed long term contract whereas Sancho only has two years left.
