Ivan Toney

A player that bets on your team to lose takes the cake.

Apparently he’s done a podcast on this.
Apparently he was betting on ‘himself’ to score first .
This is going to rumble on , still worth signing tho

Apparently, he won a Tonne.

He was diagnosed by a psychiatrist as an addict.

Unless you’re making an argument that the psychiatrist gave an incorrect diagnosis in order to get Toney a more lenient punishment?

Whether he’s a gambling addict or not, I think a lot of you are being overly dramatic here.
Ivan Toney award for less theatrics.

£80m???

Ridiculous, isn’t it?

Worth a bet ?

I know they are different players with different careers, and I realise that football doesn’t work like this, but Toney shouldn’t be costing more than Havertz. 80m would be ridiculous.

Should or shouldn’t?

Been saying his name for years now, we should have already signed him, would be a great addition to our squad.

As for having an addict in our squad/club. Everyone deserves the help and second chances that come their way after having problems. Our club has had players like this in the past, and the club and supporters stood by those players and supported them which is exactly how it should be.

Definitely shouldn’t! Time to edit!

Imagine Adams and Merson are two legends of the club and there’s a feeling that signing Toney might taint us a little. I like edgy players to a degree.

Well he ain’t Mbappe edgy so I’m okay with that, just not so sure of the price tag.

Agreed . Toney still has lots to offer once his van is over . It’s how Brentford will assess his fee should they sell him .
Edu needs to get on the case and get the deal done.
Jesus will move to either American or Saudi at within 1 or 2 years.

Adams was sent to prison for drink driving and Merson did a shitload of drugs. Neither would make it in Arteta’s Arsenal :joy:

They would be playing for Pepe at City winning trophies .

And yet, even in their own time, Ferguson had no interest in them.

To say this, in todays world, I find it very narrow minded and sad.
He likes a bet, he hasnt hurt anyone.
He will be given support and come out of it a better man

Nah, I’ve been around gambling addicts plenty. I don’t want one at Arsenal.
