As much as I fucking hate the orange clown the US voted in. His one good characteristic is that he isn’t very comfortable with wars. He loves a personal battle with people who don’t give his the respect he thinks he deserves, but I don’t think he’ll be willing to ship more warheads to Israel.

I think Trump moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is a good indicator of where he stands.

Yes. I didn’t say he’d end it in Palestine’s favour or that it would be the sort of long term resolution the region needs more a PR exercise that would include a ceasefire of sorts.
Everything Trump does goes wrong or ends up in court nor is he a particularly good fascist, but he’s desperate to get a Nobel Peace Prize too.
Anyway, Trump’s going to get Elon bumped off first. He’s already had enough of him.
Trump has said that if all the hostages aren’t released by the time he’s in office - all hell will break loose in the Middle East.

Be interesting to see what the logistics behind this ceasefire are and all of that but for the time being at least it stops the senseless killing.
Let’s just hope the Palestinians don’t lose the little land they’ve got left that many in Israel wanted to claim.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit. I’m sure Israel will have some kind of security based argument for why they need to hold onto land that doesn’t belong to them.
