Israel/Palestine

Israelis openly saying turkey are next.

I truly hope and pray they bite off more than they can chew with turkey, who are not a pariah, are a NATO member with a rapidly expanding defence industry.

Who also have just signed a defence pact with a nuclear power.

While also knowing the US support they lean on to do any of these escapades erodes as younger generations begin to despise them there.

These devil’s really need to be put in their place.

If only he was still about

Yeah not buying that.
Every poll, every metric out there suggests a major opposition to his rule.

“Death to the dictator” was a popular chant during their protests last year

No one knows what Iranians are really thinking. Which is a far more accurate conclusion than interpreting whatever we want.

And all those people in Iran celebrating, I fear their victory will be short lived.

Another will be elected. And after what has happened, I fully expect the new Ayatollah to be pretty hostile towards the West and Israel.

I don’t think they have yet confirmed whether Ahmadinejad is dead or not.

Haven’t heard that name in a while.

I’m seeing the Israeli’s have started the propaganda machine against Turkey and Qatar now - calling Turkey “the new Iran” lol

Were they? One of the reasons of those massive protests in December (supposedly 7000 - 30000 deaths) was the economic crisis that country is in, is it not?

Nothing would make Russia happier than being able to bring Turkey over from NATO into their sphere.

The Kurdish situation has been bubbling for a long time, it has to come to a head at some point.

Turkey has to work out some sort of deal

They did?

PKK disarmed.

SDF now integrated into Syria defense but I still don’t trust them.

Anyways:

Look at this integration. Very non ‘sectarian’ whatever that means

The man is a spineless jelly.

UK is directly endorsing Trump’s actions in Iran. We’re culpable for whatever shitshow happens next

This is why no one can respect the man at all.

Two days before the attack he denied the US access to UK bases to launch the strikes under the guise that it would be against international law.

Now that the ayatollah has been killed and it looks like an overwhelming US victory, he wishes to join in said violations of international law.

A flip flopping spineless coward who is hardly fit to govern our country.

What would happen if Starmer didn’t agree to join the US? Isn’t there ramifications for the UK in terms of future allied-relations if he doesn’t agree to join US efforts?

I think almost all UK leaders would’ve done the same thing, regardless of party. Not that it’s the right decision of course.
