Man I wish @Forever comes back and tell me why he fooled me into thinking Trump would be anti-war
Hooray. One despot dead, two to go.
Let’s hope Netty and The Burger King’s demise won’t be too far behind. The utter cunts.
Just seems like a bizarre approach to Iran.
What’s the plan now? A popular overthrow of the Mullahs and a democracy? How can a transition like that happen without any boots on the ground? Where’s the guarantee that what comes next won’t be worse?
Maybe all of the elements in the IRGC will totally surrender and accept democracy? I doubt that
That will never happen. Iran might not be able to attack via missile systems, but they still have a large ground army.
Maybe the plan is that the army turns on the mullahs, and seizes power? But I think I’ve seen that movie before.
Bold of you to assume there’s a plan.
Get that Reza guy in and everything will work out because nostalgia or something.
It’s the dream of Netanyahu to bring that guy in because he’s a proud Zionist supporter. It’ll be a dream for them to have a pro Israel government in charge of Iran which effectively means there is nothing left to prevent them from completely seizing the rest of what’s left of Palestine
Mate, have you seen a map of the West Bank lately? Nothing is going to prevent them doing it, no matter who is governing Iran.
It’s just a matter of time.
This is extremely sad. Israel and America doing what they do best, murdering children.
Khamenei confirmed dead that’s crazy.
I don’t think their structure will change but I wonder if Iran get a nuke now. He was the main guy in opposition to that.
It was coming. He was dangerously oppressive AND terrible at his job at the same time. But end of an era. Will have to atone for his crimes in Syria.
You just know this won’t go as well as the US wanted. Hopefully a more courageous and dynamic leader emerges.
I’ve deleted my ChatGPT subscription.
They were blacklisted after rejecting pentagons’ proposal to have access to their Claude AI, in response Trump blacklisted them as a supply chain risks (reality was, they were pressured and forced to sign a deal) and 5 hours later Tehran and key areas were killed/bombed through AI.
This is groundbreaking and huge change of direction of where AI is heading towards. Funnily enough, I’ve got a presentation to deliver on AI on Monday, will now have to mention this. My advise to anyone on the forum is to start using other AI method, avoid Chat GPT unless you are comfortable for the purpose it will be being used for and fine with Israel/America knowing data and activity you share with them.
Maybe less strategic failures like this with a new leader? Idiots
Happy to hear he is dead but extremely worried for what this means now and how much this conflict will escalate
I always find it bizarre when people say this sort of thing about national figures that the U.S. assassinates or deposes.
People have said this about Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad, Maduro recently and now Khominei.
Not to say you do this but the fixation on the bad guy dictator reads as tacit support for these unprovoked military activities. Especially when what comes after is often much worse.
I didn’t read @SRCJJ’s post as tacit approval of the US’ actions.
I read it as “this guy was a murdering bastard who tormented his own people and got what he deserved.”
I didn’t take it that way either because I took his entire post, and others, into context. I know he doesn’t approve of the US/Israeli attack on Iran.
It just reminded me of posts from others recently about the Maduro kidnapping and other similar comments I hear across the media whenever a political leader is deposed or killed.
Establishment media especially try to make the conversation about how bad of a bad guy they were and how they deserved it rather than questioning the legitimacy, legality or even morality of just invading other nations and deposing, kidnapping and/or killing their leaders.
I am your target audience.
I am conflicted with USA’s provocation & arrogance but can’t help find it a good thing these leaders are dealt with since they actively harm people. I will believe it when it happens but the future for many look better with these cunts being gone.
What I love about all of these US foreign interventions is that the justification is that bad leader is bad and must be removed, when much of the time the reason that leader is in place in the first place is because of US foreign intervention (and sometimes UK intervention too!)
Mossadegh wanted to nationalise Iran’s oil in the 50s, instead of being raped by US and UK oil companies. This move was obviously unacceptable, as we can’t have a foreign nation exercising its sovereignty if it doesn’t align with our interests.
Unsurprisingly, the puppet regime installed was not popular, and a couple decades later was overthrown in an Islamic revolution.
And now we have people saying we must remove the religious nutters and get a more secular government in, without at least having the good grace to admit that a secular Iran is what we had until the West intervened because Iran had the temerity to act in its own interests instead of the interests of Western capital.
But the majority of Iranians are not. This will only install further hate in the Iranians, as the case with many other countries from the past that went through the same cycle.
Iran were simply on the uprise - with the oil they possess, and ambitious nuclear programmes they had, the US did what they do best, indoctrinate the western society and do what they have done to so many countries in our lifetime and previous generations etc.
If anything, Iran was co-operating this time and debunked the idea of nuclear weapons but yet US/Israel decided to go ahead and commit terrorist attacks on the country. They talk about women’s right but attacked a girls school, historically they spoke about women’s rights in Afghanistan but look at the state of the country now, Taliban are in power and women’s’ situation is far worse. It’s all bullshit lol.
He may not have been a good leader but it did not qualify for this level of attack to happen. A leader that commits a genocide and bombs countries qualifies for this level of war…..
I completely agree. I don’t support the attack, I don’t support the further of Israeli foreign policy and I don’t support America yet again deciding they are the people who get to decide how the world is run.
I don’t have any sympathy for the Ayatollah but under mo circumstances do I support what has happened.
