Israel/Palestine

I’ve shared it above in the post. But sure Jakey, will share more below.

Sky News interviewed two IDF majors, one of them a spokesperson. While confirming a horrific attack at Kfar Aza, they did not, at any point, mention claims of Hamas beheading or killing 40 babies or children. Sky news footage can be seen below.

More on this since then,

Unfortunately, I cannot find concrete evidence of 40 babies being beheaded; since then I’ve found hella sources dismissing the exact report of 40 being beheaded. However, I can share evidences of Palestinian kids dead, injured as recent as in past 24 hours, let alone past 2 years, but far too horrific to share.

One thing I do need to stress is, no blood is cheaper than the other. Every human, every child, whether Israeli, Palestinian, Muslim or non Muslim should not be going through such brutality. But so much social engineering is happening on social media that clarity is absolute essential but I also accept that you cannot convince or change someone’s mind because so much is out there that one can go in circles.

What’s frustrating is, Palestinian ‘civilians’ with no infrastructure, military, resources, have suffered for decades, the stats of deaths will tell you this, see how many children and women have died alone in the past 10 years in Palestine due to Israel’s attacks (which haven’t always been in response to Hamas) and today they are still suffering, no water or electricity supply as well, that’s a violation of their basic right.

The Balfour declaration is a curse, it’s led to sufferings for the Jewish and Palestinians. I don’t think this will get any better.

We do have evidence of them killing women and the elderly, so I won’t be surprised if killing babies is something these terrorists do.

In one instance, they killed someone’s grandmother, recorded her bleeding on the floor using her mobile and then uploaded it on her Facebook profile.

The power of religious brainwashing is more powerful than humanity.

Is it a lesser crime if the 40 babies were not beheaded?

I have no idea why you guys have to spend time arguing this.

I think it’s more of an online thing tbh. If the initial claim of “40 babies beheaded” is shown to be not true than it gives people permission to dismiss basically anything else regarding the attacks.

Well I would certainly be more sceptical about what I read regarding this particular time in this conflict.

This atrocity is bad enough without people having to make shit up to make it sound worse.

There’s disinformation in every war it’s playbook number one. But people get upset about being called terrorist sympathisers so so it’s much more convenient to focus on what did not happen than what did happen.

The 40 beheaded babies story just sounds like false information and I would guess is not true. But there are still plenty journalists reporting there have been beheadings

To some extent, yeah, people clearly do feel like it would be a lesser crime if babies weren’t beheaded.

I’m not interested in arguing it, but if it didn’t matter people wouldn’t make up such lies (if in this case they are indeed lies, which I suspect they are)

I’m seeing people online justifying Israel razing the entirety of Palestine and everyone in it to the ground (so effectively genocide) on the basis that Hamas are beheading babies and the like.

There’s a longstanding tradition of fictitious atrocity propaganda being spread to justify subsequent actions.

What Hamas did was bad enough without people telling lies.

Not that it should matter because there’s no excuse for murdering kids even if some edgelords online want to position it as a heroic action of liberation.

Yeah. I just looked up her comments. It’s the same energy as very staunch pro-Israel people posting that “fuck around and find out” chart meme with Hamas written on it. It just feels gross to me.

It’s ironic because I’m pretty sure Hamas declared a fatwa or jihad or whatever on her after she started getting famous for being a Lebanese pornstar and doing a porno while wearing a hijab :joy::joy:

She wouldn’t last a second before being raped and murdered if she was around the freedom fighters she’s supporting lol

are freedom fighters that low standard???

I think you’re missing the point here.

What most pro Palestine supporters support is the freedom of Palestine from a country that occupied their land, killed women and children, committed mass massacres and wiped villages out of existence.

I find it ironic how many find the invasion of Russia on Ukraine wrong and can’t identify the similarities of what Israel did to Palestine many years ago.

447 Palestinian children and 248 women killed by Israeli attacks

That would be how I would also describe someone who is pro Palestinian.

But it’s a treacherous path to go down, because if you’re not careful, you’ll end up in a place where you’re excusing the actions of Hamas.

Exactly.

What do you mean?
Israel didn’t attack Palestine proactively.
