Israel/Palestine

Interesting situation, that damages assessment seems accurate given the assets involved and munitions used.

The Iranian do not have the means to credibly reiterate or prevent further attacks so the question is what what will realistically come next?

Iranian capitulation resulting in a “peace” deal? Internal congressional pressure on Trump? External threats to the US to guarantee Iran’s non nuclear infrastructure?

So never.

The Gulf states have a massive hand in these recent events and I do find it very surprising how little they are mentioned. Iran has been identified for a long time as an existential threat to Riyadh and frankly it’s obvious that Trump’s hand was finally pushed when the Qatar visit yielded trillions to the White House with the red carpet and parade laid out for Trump. I don’t care what statement Saudi put out on socials regarding Israel’s attack on Iran… they are fundamentally in support of everything going in Israel and the USA’s actions in Palestine, Iran and the wider region. Not to mention Iran’s diplomatic failures with the likes of Jordan and Syria. Those gifts, those Trillions, those commitments to more investment points to nothing but we want the support and protection of the White House and Zionism going forward no matter what we do. Only recently MBS just had a person executed for criticising the regime on a pseudo X account. These leaders are as corrupt as can be and care only for their ongoing projects and maintaining their power against the people, who’s support they’re never assured of. As soon as the Gulf states give their approval to take Iran’s regime out, Trump’s mind is 100% made up. And the remainder will follow suit of any action America and Israel take.

It was only a short while prior to Trumps Gulf visit by the way that France and UK were about to recognise a Palestinian state. Probably thinking the Gulf would push for an end to the genocide. Instead they championed it. And of course France and the UK backed off knowing they can do fuck all against their masters.

For all the progress in civilisation there is a sinister price to all of it sadly. War on Iran was on the cards for a long time and the building blocks were being put in place for ages.

Seems like Iran are targeting US bases in Qatar.

I can’t see that they could have left the US strikes unanswered, and in purely diplomatic terms it’s a proportional response to target military installations as opposed to Israel’s willingness to target civilians.

But I can only imagine Iran is going to pay a heavy, heavy price for firing on American bases.

I wonder what Iranian allies like China and Russia will do, especially China.

Seeing unchecked US aggression their smaller allies will look at them like ‘bro, you’re not gonna step in here?’

I don’t think Russia are in any position to get involved elsewhere in the world.

China are going to keep their cards close to their chest I would think.

I think Iran might be taking a lot of Chinese advice behind the scenes.

US actually crossed China’s “red line” for many times already, such as Navy patrolling in South China Sea and allied with Taiwan; and what did China do so far?

Very true, Russia is close to broke and running out of kids…sorry…adults to conscript.

Must cost quite a bit to have to rebuild the bridge to Crimea every few weeks.

China doesn’t get involved militarily. They are happy helping their “friends” with military aid and money, but they aren’t getting involved beyond that.

Trump says war is over - and ceasefire is ‘unlimited’

Donald Trump has been speaking exclusively to our US partner network NBC News.

Asked how long the ceasefire would be, the US president told reporter Yamiche Alcindor: “I think the ceasefire is unlimited. It’s going to go forever.”

He hailed it as a “great day for America” and a “great day for the Middle East”.

“I’m very happy to have been able to get the job done,” he added.

“A lot of people were dying, and it was only going to get worse. It would have brought the whole Middle East down.”

When asked if the war is completely over, he replied: “Yes. I don’t believe they will ever be shooting at each other again.”

I’m basically a geopolitical expert at this point.

I really do not recommend watching the video related to this story. It’s genuinely disturbing and upsetting. These people are fucking deranged.

I’m going off internet reports that this happened because the guy is Jewish and the kid Iranian and there isn’t anything specifically backing that up but from everything we know that doesn’t seem out of the question.

I came across this on ‘X’ and it auto played it, felt sick afterwards.

Absolutely horrific. To target an innocent infant with such force, how inhumane do you have to be. The poor infant is in a coma right now, such distress for parents.

Edit - article says he is now out of coma.
