Notice that when you said “10+ years” I said nothing in reply. I appreciate it is a serious crime and I’d expect a very serious punishment, but there’s nothing any of you can say that will convince me that they should literally never get out of prison. If you agree with sev on that then I expect there’s nothing I can say that will convince you either. Which is fine, I don’t know that I have much else to say about it lol

Yeah fair, and I don’t think we need to throw away the key but the punishment has to be severe enough to discourage this sort of attack.
This is much more serious than disrupting traffic or throwing paint on a painting in a museum.
Long prison sentences too, for the military personnel who allowed it to happen.

Well, if the UK Government decides to join with the US and Israel, I’ll be one of the unwashed (though I’ve literally just got out of the bath) lefties marching on Westminster.
I won’t be breaking into military bases, defacing monuments or throwing punches at the police (looking right at you morons in the EDF), I’ll be marching with a “boo, down with this sort of thing” placard and feeling like I’ve done my bit to register my dislike of this type of war.
One of my now dearly departed friends was one of the women who lived in a tent outside Greenham Common back in the 80s. She founded a peace festival in my town which I was privileged enough to take charge of for the last years it was in existence.
The idea of supposed pacifists causing criminal damage strikes me as hypocritical. So I hope you don’t take the most extreme examples and attach that to anyone who might be on the left of centre and is against war. Most of us are harmless and have mortgages and normal day jobs.

- Claims it was a ‘spectacular military success’ and it the nuclear facilities were ‘completely obliterated’
- Demands Iran must make peace (???) or the attacks will be ‘far greater and a lot easier’
- Congratulates the Israeli PM, Israeli Military and U.S Military (In that order)
- Declares ‘there will be peace or there will be tragedy far greater in Iran than we have witnessed in the last 8 days’ states there are ‘many targets left’ which he will go after if ‘if peace does not come quickly’ with ‘speed, precision and skill’
- Brags about the capability of the U.S Military
- Wraps up saying ‘god bless Israel and god bless America’ (In that order)
