Howard Webb and his Cabal of Cunts

FFS, it’s rigged, Paul Tierney is a Spud in disguise and HATES us

Arteta should pull a Klopp and rage about this donkey of a ref and have him removed from our games

No problem with the goal they scored. Ramsdale got mugged on it and he should not have. We pretty much boxed Emi in on every corner.
More times you look at it the poorer it looked.

Really? In the post above you the scnreeshot rules say that Ramsdale was essentially fouled.

What would you have him do? Shove Ramsey? Because then Ramsey goes down screaming and they get a penalty 100%

Yeh I’m on the fence about the Luiz goal too. My immediate reaction was disappointment with him without even seeing the replay. I thought we could have had a shout for a foul upon then seeing the replay, but it felt like a 50/50.

The constant heavy challenges and the blatant penalty on Saka is reason enough for a cause of complaint for me though. We were getting crunched all over the show.

Emi choking Jesus and then flailing in the floor, for who knows what? the fucking shitbird. What was that about?!

Didn’t think it was a penalty, but I also don’t think their goal should have stood.

Ramsdale also grabbed Kamara from behind, pretty sure that is unnecessary contact too and, if refereed to the letter of the law, is a penalty.

Kamara didn’t really move to prevent Ramsdale getting around him, he just stood in the way basically in one spot, which imo is a different thing and perfectly legitimate.

I get how fans can watch the villa goal and think fair enough and maybe have a different opinion on it but I don’t understand how a ref on the field and one in a video room can watch it and not give a foul. These same refs who routinely give fouls against players for being in the path of a goalkeeper or even just too near on a corner. Protected species unless they are in an Arsenal shirt.

Yeah as an experienced keeper should not let that happen. Its all part and parcel of corners at this level.
He wont be happy when he sees it again and would be very surprised if Arteta doesnt address it in training.

It reminded me of the second Brentford goal in last season’s opener.

Both were definite fouls on the keeper that you get given 9 out of 10 times.

Keepers are often bailed out these days by relatively small amounts of contact. At set pieces, teams are always going to put men around the keeper to prevent them getting a clean shot on the ball. Imo Ramsdale needs to be more decisive in that siutation and if he is then he either makes the clearance or draws the foul.

Again, Kamara is allowed to stand in the way, he’s just not allowed to move to prevent the keeper which I don’t think he clearly did. If Ramsdale isn’t coming over the back of him, I think it gets disallowed so imo it is on Ramsdale.

The issue for me is that the corner kick goal doesn’t get given 99/100 times. Anybody who initiates that sort of blocking / impeding on a goalkeeper will almost always get a foul called against them if it ultimately leads to a goal.

But not for Arsenal the soft cunts who don’t like it up 'em, always moaning the foreign bastards.
Ramsdale should have been a man and thrown the cunt out of the way like Mings on Saka.

The corner shouldn’t have been awarded in the first place. The shot by the villa player had sailed over everyone, but the ref for some reason gave a corner.

He literally had has arms around Ramsdale. He very clearly prevented him to move.

And Ramsdale came over Kamara’s back and had his arms around him, which is a penalty. Like I said, if Ramsdale isn’t doing that then I think he gets the call.

From these shots, it looks like Kamara doesn’t really change his position and just stands his ground as Ramsdale grabs over the top of him.

I just think Ramsdale was looking to get bailed out and should have been more decisive. This type of situation is commonplace at corners. You need to either make the decisive play or get a defender to block the path of the ball to Kamara.

Pretty much thought at the time Ramsdale reaction tells you that too.

Yeah Ramsdale looked pretty sheepish in his protests tbh basically like he wanted a bail out rather than that he’d been egregiously fouled.
