Nice! But I’m pretty confident 2000 cals doesnt get burned there!
Yeah I don’t know how it calculates that haha
I wonder if that’s the cals burned plus his metabolic rate? That would make more sense.
Either way, 20k steps on a day like today is great work!
I think it measure heart rate and steps taken, and measures what your burn rate would be at different heart rates
Just did a workout.
5 minutes skipping for warm up then, then I did 100 navy seals.
At about 60 my shoulders got really tired so I did 100 crunches to rest my arms, and then finished off the last 40 navy seals.
All told the skipping, navy seals and crunches took 45 minutes. Probably about 35 minutes for the 100 Navy Seals.
Fucking knackering.
Just you against 100 navy seals and you won?
Fucking impressive mate
I honestly reckon you could do all 500 if you were opposite the guy doing it in the video.
It’s like a marathon. The doing it on your own and the training is dead boring. On the day, the company and encouragement carries you through
Yeah I think having someone there to help push you would help MASSIVELY.
Doing these is such a mental because they’re so repetitive and if you want to count them out you can’t really listen to a podcast or do anything other than count them so it does get a bit tedious.
After about 100 I reckon I could have done about 15-20 more if I wasn’t so bored haha
Proud of you mate that’s good going. It’s good to test yourself Like that now and then… gonna try do it once a week, but I’m switching up to what I’m doing every day now. One day 100 lateral raises, 100 press ups, hundred shoulder press (50kg barbell), next day 100 pull ups, 50 pistol squats, 50 hanging leg raises, 50 neck curls (want w thick neck) then just alternating…
I’m tired just reading that
Have you ever used the Counter app? You just tap your screen whenever you do a burpee or whatever and it’ll keep a count log for you. I won’t lie and say it’s the perfect solution but for me it definitely beats mentally counting!
But yes I agree, it’s near impossible to focus on a podcast while keeping count!
Trust me, I think without any actual fitness or very basic fitness, compared to this marine or whatever he is, 500 is simply not possible. I think 300 would be a “realistc but almost impossible” thing to aim for at this current stage.
Especially at the rate he was getting through them. That is tough, tough, tough Shit. Not even just mentality but muscle endurance just won’t be there without training it up.
Like your legs and lungs wouldn’t let you run a marathon at good pace without training for it nobody is that naturally fit.
Yeah thanks man! I’m going to try and do 100 again tomorrow.
Last time I did them I only got 40 out or so. Feels good to distract myself and push myself with this.
@CliftonGeraldi ahh that’s genius!!! Thank you
Yeah lets not forget 500 ‘Navy Seals’ is effectively 1,500 press-ups.
Yeah after I finished I just realised I’d basically done 300 press ups, 100 squats and 100 mountain climbers (200 if you count both legs).
First proper proper workout in ages, feels really good actually nice and pumped, gotta make the most of this weather. Runs and skating doing me good shedding some fat from the stomach
Your not checking her on Instagram there are you.,
If Gio weren’t so needy, I so would
I’ve been extremely lazy since lockdown started and the gym was closed, so the first proper workout i’ve done since, is one of those burpees videos, after a quick warm up…the problem is, i still had sore muscles three days after it, which bothers me a bit, because i want to get back to it regularly, so i was wondering if you guys have some tips on the best way to speed up the recovery process?
You went straight to burpees after more than a month of inactivity?
