Of course if you dont the guilt kicks in later then. Im just in that moment of trying to psyche myself up into putting my kit on. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is so damn true. :joy: It eats me alive until I’ve caved in and done it.

It’s also why I very rarely do my runs/workouts in the afternoon or evening and prefer to do it first thing in the morning. I can’t relax mentally until it’s done otherwise it’s an obstacle just hanging over my head all day.

Never tell you that in the books do they. Its all endorphin rushes and shit. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Yeah I’m the same, it’s like Damocles sword hanging over you all day if you don’t. Stresses me out haha

Right I have become a fat fuck and no idea about nutrition. Can anyone point me in the right direction as you all seem more knowledgeable than me :+1::+1:

Yeah it gets you from glutes to shoulders doesnt it, great stuff.

Gonna give it another go today outside in this nice weather, I’d film it but I think that’s pretty cringe haha

Honestly a have a muscle just below the armpit that is killing. Never experienced this before lol.
Shoulders, chest, back and glutes all aching. Brilliant exercise tbh. Only managed a long walk today because fuck everything else right now lol.

That would be your lat, which I was surprised to get recruited in this exercise, but then when you think about bringing your knees up to your chest in the movement, it’s slightly engaging your lat to move it. Yeah, it wrote me off for 2/3 days but I really kinda like it too. I did 200 pull ups last night and tbh can feel my pecs hurting a bit from it so, this could be a challenge now.

I do loads of lat exercises normally but never felt this reach of it. My general lat area isn’t hurting as much. It must really isolate a certain part of the lat.

Fucking hell is this the zoo here with all you animals about?

And I felt pleased with myself for managing 5 pull-ups without stopping :arteta:

I have no patience in doing 500 or whatever Burpees, no way.

Mate no one here is gonna get close to doing 500 Navy Seals just yet. That’s effectively 1500 press-ups in one sitting, mental.

Pull ups are the one man. Haven’t done them since the gym closed :weary:

@Midfield_Maestro get one of these… 20/30£ and use physics to mean you an be up to 120kg and not bring it down

Since it’s a bank holiday and a nice day (jk) I done a much longer cycle than usual. 75 minutes.

According to google 52km is 32 miles.

My resistance bands are coming this week aswell so looking forward to getting them and having something else to do aswell as my bike

Good idea on the bike for future reference is ankle weights mate.
Fair play though cal you’ve put the bike to good use. Shown some good discipline throughout.

Whoa impressive stuff!! That’s an excellent distance.

I walked up to Little Venice today, through Hyde Park and Bayswater. Suppose it’s quite cute but I thought it was fucking overrated compared to how some people talk about it haha

Nothing interesting there, just a quaint little neighbourhood. Fucking 8 miles for nothing.

Gonna go do push ups and bent over rows in the garden now.

It probably doesn’t as mean much as I had a wee 5 minute break at 30 mins and cycling in your house is much much easier than outside cycling.

@Cristo give the Navy Seals another go I dare you. Also @Calum @Stroller don’t use ankle weights during running/cycling, really bad on your ankle joints and not massively good for your knees either.

Not sure I’ve got it in the tank after 8 miles in this heat :joy:

Suppose I could give them a go
