Fair play man. Amazing physique for natural growth. Kudos!

Thanks brother :fist:t3::fist:t3:

People really underestimate how great a physique you can build naturally. Ronnie Coleman won his pro card naturally (albeit with arguably the greatest genetics in bodybuilding history so certainly not a common man) but there’s quite a few amazing natural physiques I’ve seen over the years that always encourages me you can build a great and lean physique naturally.

My coach did advise me to cycle for the show I was gonna do in June but that got cancelled so we never had a chance to see if I’d do it.

I’m actually pretty shocked too, which in itself is the ultimate compliment. On steroids in general I really think that there is a real weird aura surrounding natural and non-natural fitness at the moment. Hollywood especially has really muddied the waters with so many Men’s Health covers, youtube videos etc on how they’ve achieved peak fitness. When everyone knows it’s not only hard work and an A-list diet but the drugs play a massive part.

Personally I have no issue with it, I just wish they would be more honest.

Yeah the lack of transparency regarding steroids has always bothered me. For a lot of fitness personalities, the only thing that stops them from speaking about them is the fact they’d get dropped by sponsors if they admitted to using them.

It’s a shame but I think a lot of people new to the fitness industry look at these totally unattainable physiques and genuinely get suckered into buying workout plans and stuff and supplements in the hope they can look like a guy who’s been cruising on testosterone all year round and then blasting other compounds lol.

I’ve got friends who have big followings on social media who have to claim natural or they’d literally lose a bucket load of money.

All I know is that when I do jump on, I’d have no problems admitting it because I never want to mislead anyone into thinking it’s all achievable without the help of vitamin S.

Yeah my point was you’re at the size where you could/should/would know, but I also know you’re natural only cos of comments before on here. It’s like half a compliment half an insult to be asked if you’re on steroids in a way.

Also yeah not discrediting the mountains achievements, I could have twice as good a diet, twice as strong/effective steroids as him and tbh even have superior genetics (I don’t but generally speaking) but without a shit ton of work and focus I’d get nowhere near.

I don’t think it’s an insult in the slightest. I genuinely thought SRCJJ used a little of help along the way because of how well his physique looks.

My friend roids and doesn’t look that good that’s why I was genuinely surprised haha. He can deadlift 220kg though. He’s always tried to get me to do it but I’m scared of having a heart attack or some shit lol. Plus I’m a bit of spiritual creature, believe in treating your body as natural as possible.

The only way I would do it is if I had a doctor watching my levels like all the stars do. Fuck actually sharing a needle with your gym bros, rinsing it under boiling water so you don’t catch something.

I don’t think steroids are anywhere close to as dangerous as the scaremongers want you to believe. But like anything it’s about moderation and being sensible. Some people will blast over a gram of Test a week and other dangerous compounds like Tren or do silly things like blast more Deca than Test (which will give someone a limp dick) and then that’s the kind of shit that just ages you.

I’ve seen 20 year olds with red faces, acne everywhere and looking about 40 because of how heavy they blast cycles.

Then I’ve seen 55 year olds who could pass for a 30 year old because they were sensible and cautious.

Not that I’m encouraging you haha.

Yeah agreed on both counts, there’s a guy from my old gym, strong as fuck and very early 20s, he’s got huge in a year but his face is like he’s rubbed Morley’s all over it every single day, and his back is like he’s not changed his sheets in a year.

Credit to him shape wise he’s seriously impressive and has the strength to back it up, and he’s a great lad, just yeah it’s clear he’s rushed it. His choice of course and you have to respect it but it’s not for me.

As for steroids, I’ve been tempted myself but, I’m certainly not the most psychologically stable of people (a lot better than I used to be that’s for damn sure) so it’s not something id risk lightly as it can have such adverse effects on your emotions and mood in general.

The secret is to control the run. Not let the run control you.

It took me years to get the nirvana type feelings from running, but you can develop it.

Bathroom body fat scales. Are they all just inaccurate as shit?

As inaccurate as any measure of body fat could possibly be

I’ve got a “smart scale” and I’m very sceptical of how accurately it can actually measure by body fat, BMI, and water content.

All I trust it for is actual weight and then the weather details it tells me when I’m standing there :joy:

It’s pretty useful though as it sends me all of the data straight to the app on my phone and plots graphs of my progress on all of the data points which is pretty cool and the visualisation of my progress helped me mentally.

I don’t see how one could do any of those things reliably.

Yeah agreed, I don’t get the science behind it either haha but it was a present so whatever.

Broke 150lbs/68kg for the first time In 6 years or so. If ever.

I’m 149.6lbs or 67.8kg, that 150lb mark being a real psychological milestone.

Don’t really know what to do at this point, I don’t think any further wait loss will actually look good. For the first time in my life I have the semblance of abs :joy:

I guess when gyms open back up in October I’ll be looking to bulk and for now just enjoy being lean during the summer.
