I don’t think City ever offered 150m for Kane. Levy would have definitely taken that.

Although I think they probably should have sold him to rebuild the squad for a player at Kane’s age.
The positive for Spurs is I think they’ll be the next best outside the top 4.

I can understand how difficult this whole situation would have been for him. Wanting out but without antagonizing the fans, and with someone like Levy in charge. This was the summer for him to make his move and get to a club where he can win things. Am not saying all is lost for him but doesn’t look great right now.
As for Spurs, unless they can finish in the Champions League positions this season, I don’t see the point in holding on to him, especially if City were willing to pay over 100 million for him. His value would only go down from here and without the Champions League revenue, holding on to Kane doesn’t seem to make much financial sense.
In any case, fuck Kane and fuck Spurs.

I’m torn on whether I want to see Spurs crash out here, which would be hilarious, or whether its better for them to spend all year flying from one small corner of Europe to another.
