Love him but he’s been total mess the last few games.
Shame because he was my CB of the season until very recently.
Say it in front of a fucking camera then. Own your own performance at the same time while your at it.

He’s had these blips over and over since he joined… we just tend to forget because he has a handful of great games in between. Also I think vs the City game we made some errors elsewhere on the pitch that put him in shit situations, Håland and De Bruyne are almost unplayable with that amount of space.
As someone pointed out his last few performances haven’t been flattering but he is a good CB with some good qualities and still only 25yo. Keep reducing the errors.
Also maybe he is not used to playing this much, I looked it up, he has more apps played this season than ever before in his career and it’s not over yet, perhaps there is a fatigue/concentration thing and PL games are no doubt some of the most taxing in the world, one of the subtle downsides of investing in younger/less experienced players (and staff) but he/we will learn from this experience no doubt.

Maybe him pushing on as hard as he did is because he might feel his season is over. Hopefully just a light twinge or cramp.
I reckon Holding-Kiwior does no worse than Holding-Gabriel or Kiwior-Gabriel.
Let’s be honest, even today he wasn’t assured. I don’t think his head is in the right place and with the physical concerns now I genuinely wouldn’t use him against Newcastle.

Give him injections. I don’t care. Too much riding on this game to be playing Holding and Kiwior.
Didn’t we rush him and White last year in the same fixture and we got spanked by them?
If he isn’t fit, don’t use him.

Time to have White-Kiwior at CB and just figure out the fullbacks. We can’t have Rob Holding playing at Newcastle. He’ll be eaten alive.

I don’t hate that but who goes in the middle? Kiwior? Big ask for him.
Most senior CB should go there. So White and probably Tierney RCB as he knows the league more.
Its never gonna happen tho.

Sure he was good there at one point but so was fucking Mustafi in that team.
Tierney’s been suspect defensively himself the past 2 years.
He plays there regularly for Scotland and does a fine job.
For one game its better than Holding
