Lead by example all game. Timing in tackles and for me shepherding of players in dangerous areas was top draw again.

Kiwior will take his place this coming season. He has 1 donkey moment in every game. Our biggest weakness in the team atm. He is sadly just too shit on the ball to take us forward. The difference between him and Saliba is night and day.
Couldn’t disagree more. Yes, Saliba looks a bit more polished but Gabriel was probably our best defender last season.
Rightfully, if he has too many bozo moments, he should lose his place but we are a much better team for having his aggression, leadership and aerial ability.
Unfair to ignore a mean average of his performances but instead use a pre season, in an unsettled team in a new system.
I see captain material in Gabriel.
