I don’t know about that bro, RB Leipzig came 3rd in the Bundesliga and have the second best defensive record after Bayern, having conceded only 37 goals, which is only 5 goals worse than what Bayern conceded. Upamecano played a big part in keeping them good at that back.

They only conceded 29 the previous year when Upamecano hardly ever played but Konate was regularly fit. Its a good defensive team with a lot of talent.
I’m not saying Upa is shit or anything, just that he isn’t some kind of can’t miss defensive prospect and may not even be the best young CB on his own team.

Exactly. He would be an instant upgrade on all of our defenders and would form a perfect partnership with Saliba. I just hope we get a chance to sign him in the future…
