Gabriel Magalhães (6)

Should we be excited?

Not yet.

Still think he’ll go to Napels.

This has gazumped by Naples written all over it. Especially after City shit the bed last night, they’ll dump a whole bunch of money into signing Koulibaly even if AdL is a total wildman and demands extortionate fees.

For the record Moley has been banging the Gabriel to Arsenal drum for a few weeks. The Gerbil got a victory maybe Moley will too :joy::joy:

No, I meant is he the kinda CB that will solve our problems. Don’t know anything about him and can’t be arsed to research him :).

No idea man, haven’t seen him play once. I’m in the same boat

Looks good on paper. Got everything u want from a CB. Tall, pace, technique.

His hairline is doing my head in tho. Hopefully a hairtransplant is included in his wagepackage.

Here’s his game against Chelsea.

You can’t see much here but it seems like he can run using his feet and kick a ball.

I don’t know much about him but I think this much for him is a lot better than anything above £40m for Upamecano.

Just get Aouar too and give us Bayern to play! :torreira:

Too inexperienced but you never know

William Saliba (19) + Dayot Upamecano (21) = Defence sorted

William Saliba (19) + Gabriel Magalhães (22) = Jury out IMO…

I don’t know anything about Magalhaes but I think people are seriously overrating Upamecano on the back of one match. By many accounts he only had a so-so season in the Bundesliga last year, having missed almost the entire previous year due to injury. There is a reason that no club in the world was willing to trigger his 50m euro release clause in his previous contract, even as clubs like City were lining up to buy the likes of Ake for that much money…
