I’m so fed up of injuries.
Im also fed up of uefa and figs the greedy pigs. Players should go on strike

Sick of international breaks in general. Even more so when every single fucking time one or two of our players come back injured.
The way I see it if he was booked in by the injury gods to get this he would have had it for us anyway
The Liverpool game in January is probably the target for his comeback.
Awful timing for Gabriel to go down, he is so focal to what the team is doing even in final third.
I believe that Mosquera is up to it but he typically has been playing with Gabriel rather than Saliba, wouldn’t have the same worry if it was Gabriel he was going to play so many games with.
Crazy situation to be dealing with.
Well he will be fresh for 2026 and be like a LANS
So who is taking Gabriel’s spot?
I was persuaded by the conversation they had on the Arsecast. I think this might be Hincapie’s moment.
Watching those Mosquera clips earlier btw, I think he has played as a left CB for Valencia quite a lot and I don’t thik he’ll have issues there.
Same for Saliba. Played there for France or on some loans earlier. You don’t have to be left footed to play there.
I’m sure both Cala and Hicapie have massive potential there long term, but atm I’d just keep Mosquera there.
I think it’s gonna be Mosquera because he’s had more time with us but stylistically Hincapie is the closest thing to Gabriel when it comes aggressiveness and physicality.
Mosquera is closer to Saliba stylistically for me. It’s why I think him and Gabriel worked really well.
Hincapie plays a game tonight, at 1:30 UK time. Travel back after that, back late on Thursday/early Friday with a jet lag. My guess would be Mosquera for this weekend.
And more importantly, who plays the Big Gabi role from corners?
Got to be Merino, no?
Merino is probably the best header of the ball in the squad after him, but I can’t imagine him attacking those crosses so violently and dominatly as Gabriel does, as with any other player in the squad.
We’ll probably switch our set piece tactics a bit.
This sucks. Now only are we losing a defensive stalwart we are losing a legit goal threat.
Yep, another swift kick to the nuts. Absolutely sickening the amount of injures over the last few seasons. Make it stop.
So so happy he was able to get 60mins of injured football in a friendly vs Senegal. So so happy.
So we just keep having all the rotten luck with injuries to so many players but our rivals don’t. City will cry about Rodri and Liverpool about Allison but where do we even begin.
Gabriel will be a massive miss, especially in attack, but with so much attacking talent returning, we just have to cope without him. No excuses. Mikel and his coaching staff better figure out another way to break down stubborn low blocks.
Hopeful that he’ll be back for Christmas. Mosquerra isn’t Gabby, nobody is, but I’m not worried about him getting a run of games.
as soon there were even slim signs of getting our strike force back, we have lost one of our key defender. whats next, Timber out ?
Looking more at extended periods out for rice and Raya
