To be fair, I was completely awake and in my full sense when I posted that.
I haven’t bought a shirt with a name on the back in a long long time. I was getting ahead of myself and thinking if we won the league, I’d get Gabriel. Presuming it’s Mosquera to fill in for him now, if we win the league with the role he’s had, I may well get his name on my shirt.
His contribution to both defence and offense will be missed. If we are anywhere within touching distance of a title race when he comes back, I will be beyond shocked. He’s out for like 10-15 games assuming there’s no setbacks.
Crazy to think that he’s not the only Brazilian CB to have injured his adductor in this international break. Militao is another one.
