Really impressed tonight by his cameo. He was unlucky to not have a goal on his return. Please can he be rid of injuries now

Be lovely to see him contribute to us winning the PL this season, and complete a redemption arc, as long as that arc ends in the summer with him leaving the club!
Nah if he gets through this season Iād rather just have him for the final 12 months and he can leave on a free like Partey did.

What if we had a chance to sign a top striker in the summer like Alvarez? But it meant moving on Jesus? Are you still keeping him for another season?
Obviously everyone would do that if presented with that specific choice. But I donāt think thereās a realistic chance that is what we will be faced with.

Why? In the summer, with the squad we have, we can afford to look at replacing one or two players with big money signings.
Yeah, but your last post was asking if someone would do that if it specifically meant we have to let Jesus leave early. My point is everybody would but we are probably not going to be constrained by Jesus specifically. As in, if we were gonna go for Alvarez, weād go for him regardless.

Best scenario would be for him to stay injury-free and smash it for the rest of the season. Would love to see him chip in with goals and help our overall squad depth. That will build his value for a justifiable fee in the summer - because after two long lay offs, his legs donāt have much left at this level.

Having Jesus fit for most of the rest of the season would probably be a bigger boost for us than any signing we made in the summer (bar Zubi).
The chances are slim but one can always hopeā¦

Poor bastard has been the messiah for us about 4 times. Coming back like Lazarus to save our season.
Then we remember heās not a very good finisher and want to crucify him again.
In seriousness, his dribbling, hold up play and spontaneity is going to be really useful, irrespective of his finishing. Really looking forward to having him back as another option.

He will bring that chaos factor in the final third, even withouth the goals, if he can stay fit for a while.
Although, he was in some strange goalscoring form last year, just befor he got injuredā¦ Actually that was his best goalscoring form ever in the Arsenal shirt. You nevet know what to expect of him.
