Gabriel Jesus (9)

Seen this back. Don’t think it was the wind that affected it, it was just a weird ball from Rice and it caught Jesus off guard.

Regardless, my point about him being more alert in that situation still stands. Said Havertz probably gets a touch of it but I’d even say Nketiah does too.

The difference from when Jesus first came to Arsenal to now is that he likely rifles that chance with his first touch.

Gyokeres belts that in with his eyes closed (if we had him of course).

Jesus just lost some pace, as well as Martinelli.

they’ve both lost some braincells too.

they are too eager to perform and impress… understood.

I wish it was just that. He lost his balls as well.

This was his cameo against Bayern back in April.
Eight months later, Jesus can’t provide this type of impact anymore.

So poor AGAIN! Need to sell in summer and buy a new striker!

I’d sell in Jan if i knew we definitely could get a striker in…he is pointless.

Thanks for fuck all, but its time to go

Looks so cooked he’s almost extra crispy.

Sell in January. No offers? Rip up the contract entirely
like the William deal, and use those wages to give bumper contracts to our serious players & starlets.

It woulnd’t be ripping up the contract though, we’d stil have to pay it out :jesus:

Willian gave up the money, can’t expect Jesus to do the same

It’s concerning how uninvolved he’s been all game, and when he has been it’s been wasteful.

What bugs me is the version of Gabriel Jesus we had 18 months ago easily picks us up at least 5 extra points in the league this year.

Now if we had to rely on him he would be useful for -10 points a season.

Such a shame. I really hoped he would take his opportunity tonight. But the lad couldn’t finish his dinner.

The pass for the first goal was great

I’m going to take the positives out of the performance. Jesus made two excellent runs in behind which led to good goalscoring opportunities. I’d give him more game time.

Goals are like ketchup…

Deep down you’re a Ronaldo fan. :trossard:
